Welcome to "Saltwater Squared" where you and the one’s you love will make wonderful vacation memories. Whether your extended family is here for its annual beach trip, or you and your group of friends are having an off season getaway, we know you will feel relaxed and at ease in our oceanside home, which is full of coastal charm, spacious rooms, and everything you need for a stress-free, memorable vacation. No need to bring linens, towels or beach chairs-we got you covered!

After your warm, sunshine welcome, you will be greeted by updated, tranquil, coastal furnishings in shades of blue, aqua, sand, and crisp white. Our home offers plenty of space to gather and have fun, while offering everyone privacy when they need it. A well-stocked kitchen awaits your arrival with BRAND NEW appliances, plenty of space for more than one “chef”, and 2 dishwashers to make cleanup super easy! The master bedroom is located just off the great room, while the other 4 bedrooms are located on the mid-level, giving each group their own quiet retreat. All bedrooms have comfy mattresses and new Roku TVs. The lower level has a TV/Game Room, with multi-gaming table, including foosball, air hockey, and mini pool, as well as a new daybed for hanging out, or an extra sleep space. We have plenty of board games, puzzles, DVDs, and books for those unfortunate rainy days, as well as decks everywhere to take in a sunrise or sunset with a cup of coffee or your favorite adult beverage.

LINENS AND TOWELS ARE PROVIDED AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. Beds will be made upon your arrival.

Our home is located in Ocean Sands, a family friendly, private community with homes situated on quiet cul-de-sacs. Wide open, uncrowded beaches, plenty of natural vegetation, along with a 7-acre fishing lake, make this the perfect place to get away from it all. If you’re looking to stay active, there are numerous walking/running/biking trails, throughout Ocean Sands and Corolla; community tennis courts are nearby; and the beautiful Currituck Club Golf Course, designed by Rees Jones, is just across the street. Every type of water sport imaginable, including jet skis, paddle boards, pontoon boats, and parasailing is minutes away. A few miles north are the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, the Whalehead, as well as the famous Wild Horses on the 4X4 beaches.

Early Christmas

Each year my family gather to celebrate Christmas early. This year Corolla was our destination. Saltwater Squared was the perfect place for us to gather under 1 roof to enjoy each others company.

Overall this was a good property. The exterior of the house needs some work. The house had a ton of flies and some other kinds of bugs that were pretty bothersome. We tried to use the jets in the master tub and a bunch of black stuff came out the jets. The hot tub was treated before we got there and smelled clean! The remotes to a few tvs needed batteries. The beds, bathrooms, and common areas were clean! The bikes either had flat tires or rusted. This location is close to the beach.

One of the BEST!

Although this home is a bit of a walk to the beach (it's a hike), it was clean, roomy for a large family and offered many amenities! The home is tastefully and beautifully decorated and we appreciated that there wasn't unnecessary "stuff" sitting around on tables, dressers, etc. The 7 bikes (5 adult and 2 kids) were AMAZING! The pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable. The owner's offer free use of a beach parking pass and they are extremely efficient with their communication. The arcade game and foosball are cool. The kitchen had plenty of gadgets and everything we needed! The extra fridge is a plus!!!! The beds were comfortable and clean! We would highly recommend this property! If you don't mind the walk to the beach (check out the map), you'll be set for a week of relaxation and fun!

Nice beach house close to the beach

We had a nice stay at this beach house. The bedrooms are all a very nice size. The walk to the beach wasn’t bad at all. The pool was very nice. The carpets appear to need a deep cleaning, I can only imagine the wear and tear they go through. I would have appreciated soap in all the bathrooms. Although the hosts did provide towels for the house there were no beach towels for the pool. This was a minor inconvenience sine we did not pack any when the listing said it had towels. Overall we did have a great time, and I’d recommend this home

Beautiful house inside and out. Well stocked cooking supplies, great kitchen. We enjoyed cooking meals together, site seeing, day and night beach trips, and bike riding. We have a problem with locking sliding door to pool and master bedroom door to deck. The handrails on stairs were really dirty and sticky; which we cleaned upon arrival. Speaking for elderly and handicapped, this is not for you. There are lots of stairs and bathroom do not have grab bars. Overall I would recommend to others.

Amazing Property!

We had the best week at Saltwater Squared. It was the cleanest rental we had ever seen and it is obvious much care is given to even the small details, from decor to cleanliness to comfort. The home is quite larger than I thought it would be by pictures. Everything was either as described or better than described! All of the beds were extremely comfortable. All rooms had ample space to unpack and relax in. The kitchen was well stocked and we ate all meals there- having two full sized fridges and two dishwashers made this a breeze! The pool and hot tub were used often and the pool was such a hit! Large enough for the entire family. The owners have thoughtfully included many extras- bikes, pool toys, sand toys, beach cart, books, games, puzzles, movies, everything you would need to relax. The beach was a fairly easy walk and the owners provided detailed maps with several options for getting there. This is a fabulous property and the owners were very responsive when we had a question. We will definitely be back!

Bachelorette Trip

I booked this house for my daughter’s bachelorette trip. There was plenty of room for the bridal party. Prior to checkin I had a question for the property owner, they responded very quickly. While the holiday weekend wasn’t the best for weather, there was plenty to do at the house. The hot tub was used the most. I would definitely recommend this property for a vacation getaway.

Such a great location for our recent stay to visit the OBX Wedding show. Communication with the homeowner was quick and amazing. All of my questions were answered and Amanda was so accommodating. Great Stay in Corolla

We had a great stay with friends. The house had everything we needed, a short walk to the beach, and plenty of room to stretch out. While it was a bit brisk during our stay, it allowed us to take advantage of the close restaurants and shopping. It was the first time for our group being to this part of the outer banks - we will be making plans for a return trip!

We stayed here for a long weekend with family. The location is convenient to anything you need. With not much open during the off season, the house kept us occupied with the foosball table and the board games. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Home

We loved our long weekend here in this beautiful home. We have 2 teenagers and they each brought a friend…they had the best time even with it being cold and raining one day. Everyone was able to have their own space, but we all gathered in the living room area as well. The hot tub was a winner! Amanda and Jeff had suggestions on where to go and where to eat. The Tap House was amazing…everyone loved it. It was an easy walk to the beach and the neighbors we did see were very friendly. We can’t wait to go back!

Best Beach House Ever!

We have stayed at a few places in Duck and Corolla and this is our new favorite! It is truly a must see! It is probably one of the cleanest houses we have stayed at yet. There’s a huge driveway for parking more than one truck and unloading, the hot tub was so perfect for January, and the layout of the house let us be together and have fun but also enjoy some alone time when we wanted it. There were more balconies than I can count! The kitchen was nicely upgraded and even has TWO dishwashers!!! We will be back again soon!

We are Jeff and Amanda-Lee and we love the Outer Banks! We got engaged and married here, so it really holds a special place in our hearts! We have three kids, live nearby, and love to travel.

Why they chose this property

We get a lot of questions about our name - so let's start there! We got married in 2021, but because of our kids, we elected not to change any last names. However, we both had last names that started with P, so we created our own blended family name and began calling ourselves the P2 (Psquared) family. Then, when we purchased this home, we decided to use the squared portion of our name to give us a unique beach house name. We hope you enjoy your stay at Saltwater Squared!

What makes this property unique

Security Camera Disclosure: VRBO Requires the disclosure of any security cameras on the premises. We have two Ring cameras that are used for security purposes only to make sure we have no trespassers when the property is unoccupied. There is one under the car port and another on the rear fence in the pool area. If you have any concerns over either camera, please contact us and we will be happy to accommodate any concerns.
