Simple little cabin.

Simple little cabin don’t need much just place to lay down. Came to visit for long weekend and this place was pretty much middle of all the trips we had somewhat planed to go. If ever have a chance to come back out this ways will definitely consider coming back.

Very nice

Location - near lots to see and do, yet extremely private. If I have one thing to suggest or recommend: If you have never stayed at this property before, arrive during DAYLIGHT hours . The driveway gets treacherous the closer you get to the cabin. Especially in the fall, as leaves cover the driveway and it gets hard to see the pavement/shoulder. Very sharp drop-off on left side going in. 1

Great cabin great view

The cabin was great. Loved the history of the house, and Franklin and all the things to do. We chased waterfalls in Bryson City and Highland as well as the one the owners of the house recommended. Would stay there again.

5 stars!

My friends and I took a trip to this cabin for a winter break vacay and it was beautiful and very cozy to say the least! Staying here was a great experience and the owner was very generous and understanding for our group. We all recommend this 10/10 stay. :)

A lovely stay in the mountains

I love how homey “Almost Heaven” feels! It’s a very nice cabin up in the woods, with a beautiful view of the mountains in the area. It truly was an amazing getaway experience. I especially appreciated the board games, it was nice to just relax and play some games with friends.

Almost Heaven!

The cabin was absolute perfection. The bed was comfy. The kitchen was well stocked. Washer and dryer were handy. The best thing was the fireplace. We loved it!

Disappointed

We have been asking for someone to please follow up with us but the response was it was “escalated to upper management”. This was day before yesterday. Disappointed that no one has followed up yet. Things that need to be addressed. 1. No AC was on when we arrived. House was hot and smelled of dog. Took hours to cool off. It should be listed that there is only a kitchen window ac unit so that customers can decide whether to change the summer heat. 2. Home was not cleaned. Obvious hair and bugs in the showers and on the floor. 3. Shower in back is broken. Knob just fell off when turned. 4. Rodent feces present in the drawers, kitchen cabinets, and bathrooms. 5. Trash under furniture. 6. When we arrived we had to text you to be able to access the third room. No info was made available for this prior to our arrival. 6. When I initially text, your response was that someone would contact us in the morning which is unsatisfactory bc we had guests that would not have had a place to sleep had I not persisted. 7. TV in room to the left down the hall - volume doesn't seems to go down. 8. Dining room chairs are glued and stapled together as of someone tried to repair them. I sat down in one only once and one of the chairs broke. Obviously we were stuck with this home for the rest of our stay but I would like to formally be addressed with these concerns as I'm sure VRBO, Vacasa, and the home owner would find this situation uncomfortable and unacceptable.
