Confusing from the start...then, disappointed
When we arrived, staff was not updated by the host on the number of guests I had paid for a month prior so I spent 2 hours trying to get that information verified.
Note, when making the booking you must make sure you have the correct number of guests as we had 6 rooms for what I thought was 12 people-2 per room and I only had paid for 8 people, which required me to pay an additional $600 to fill the non-refundable rooms.
Because of poor weather we did not have hot water the first couple of days, apparently having something to do with solar panels, we had to adjust valves in all of our rooms repeatedly during this time to keep hot water. The breakfast was just ok, I would have rather not included breakfast as I think you can get a much better value elsewhere in town. Also, I am not sure if it was the food/fruit but at least 1/2 of our group had a 24 hour GI issue different days and the only common denominator was the breakfast food.
The bed/bath linens were just ok, we had to ask for a 2nd hand towel for the additional 2 people in a 4 person unit. The linens were also worn and kind of nasty. Very thin sheets on a poor mattress. Definitely not cozy just adequate. It just seemed like we were college students in a dorm style situation where asking for anything additional, extra keys, etc...seemed to cause an issue. I also HATED having to wear an uncomfortable scratchy bracelet during my vacation. I spent over 5,000 on my stay here and felt I was a burden to ask for anything.
