My husband and I stayed here with our 2 teenage kids and we had the best time! We used the kayaks each day and saw tons of manatees, we even had a mother and baby dolphins follow a boat through our canal one morning! Great location and house had all the basics!
Cute little spot right on the river. Hospital Hole right as you enter main river. Saw lots of manatees. House was clean and had everything we needed. Check in/out was one of the easiest I’ve had. Will definitely book again! Thank you!
The house is located so close to the Weeki Wachee River you can see it from the deck!!!
We really loved our stay there!
My grandson enjoyed fishing from the deck.
We kayaked with dolphins and the baby played with the strings on the front of our kayaks!!!
We also had a Momma and baby manatees come up to the deck!!
It’s truly the best place and we really enjoyed it!!
If you're looking for a quiet spot to relax by the water this is it!! The house was clean and comfortable but we spent most of our time outside chilling/grilling by the water. We had a great day kayaking and swimming and my son loved laying on the floating mat after! Highly recommend for a simple, peaceful getaway!
Needed a quick get away and found this little gem! Spent most of our time outside on the patio with our pup. Home came equipped with all the necessities for river activities, we enjoyed the short tour to the river itself and neighboring channels. Walking distance to the upper deck was also great if you didnt want to kayak or paddle up.
The home is as the pictures described, nothing fancy but we appreciated the attempt in touches owners took to make it welcoming and cozy. If youre like us, you came to relax and spend most of the time outside anyway. We were deep in relaxation mode we extended our stay and returned home feeling recharged. Would recommend, and stay again!
We had an absolute blast on the river! We appreciated the kayaks and the cleanliness of the house. The hosts communication was great! We will definitely be back.
A cozy house with everything you need to have a pleasant stay with your family. Everything is very clean, with comfortable beds and all the utensils you may need in the kitchen, it is located in a good place. In general, I would return as soon as I have free time to spend other fantastic days.
Best location - Mantee sightings and quick access to main river
This is our second time at this location, very accomidating and clean. Absolutely love the accessibility to the water with both a ramp for kayaks and steps to get in easily. The dock and sitting area is so relaxing and peaceful. We have the great location on the river to still have some activity but not directly in the main river which can be crowded. Great spot for fishing and the pups to swim some. There is also a great location a short paddle the pups can walk and play in the water especially when its not low tide. We seen mutiple mantee as well. This has become a yearly trip for my family including my grandmother and uncle who both dont get around the best they can easily get around at this location and enjoy the river with us
We recently stayed here and consider this a perfect hidden gem if you are trying to have a relaxing trip to the river. The backyard and dock are perfecting for lounging with friends. Nothing too fancy but definitely deserves more praise than some of the previous reviews that were left. Location wise the house is great and is walking distance to the upper deck cafe and Roger’s Park. The ceilings are a little low in some parts of the house and my husband is 6’6 but you know what he didn’t do … complain because the house is awesome and every great spot has some quirks. We will definitely be back to visit. Thank you for hosting us.
I enjoyed the new living room furniture and new kayak rack since my stay last year. I couldn't remember but the floors looked new too. Fantastic location, dog friendly and very accommodating. Thank you for a peaceful mini vacation.
I actually wish this house had a few more Photos to share. It’s very clean, lots of light streaming in, the beds are very comfortable, nice bedding … Yes, it’s an older home. It’s not super fancy, but it’s in a great location - It’s kept up well and there was a lot of work put into the outside, which if you’re anything like us, that’s where you’re spending most of your time. Brand new grill and nice kayak selection. Overall, and we had a beautiful relaxing weekend
Good overall, was fun kayaking, neat place, lots to do in the area.

Great location, Great host, awful place
Just to be fair: the location is wonderful, dock is beautiful, host was great. The rating is for the "house" (more like a run-down trailer). It seems the host is trying to keep it up (new washer and drier, new coffee maker, etc.) but there is a point when a place needs to be torn down and rebuilt. I brought friends and was really embarrassed. Doesn't matter how low you set expectations, the place will disappoint. Every floor seems uneven (in different directions due to foundation setting?), every ceiling leans in different direction, was hitting ceiling with my head in many places, single bathroom for 6 people with ADA shower.
Overall, we tried to laugh all of this off and had a good time.

Location is nice house needs a lot of work. For the price it wasn’t bad. We definitely had a blast kayaking almost all day. Hopefully it gets some renovations.
Most of the reviews were accurate with the height of ceilings. I am 6’4” and did not have issue. With bathroom made for some waiting. But overall as advertised
We had an amazing stay at this location. All items we needed were easily accessible and there for our use. We were right on the water in a spot where we caught fish, saw multiple manatees each day and a short paddle from the main river. Resturants and grocery stores close by. Just overall wonderful place to stay and we are already looking at dates for our next visit.
