This Truckee townhouse offers the ultimate base for year-round adventure. Just minutes from the Northstar village, you can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, biking, hiking, golf, and swimming. Come winter, you are a short ride from the ski slopes, village, and ice skating rink. Plus, there is a free shuttle service for an easy commute. The trail behind the townhome becomes a ski and sledding trail, and when there's enough snow, you can ski back to the townhome. Overnight ski valet is available in the gondola building for a fee.

In summer, you're within close walking distance of the village and rec center - a free shuttle ride operates most days. Enjoy access to the Northstar recreation center amenities, which include tennis courts, basketball courts, a fitness center, a sauna, a hot tub, a seasonal lap pool, and an open grill area next to a beautiful creek surrounded by pine, fir, and aspen trees. (Site rentals include the use of three picnic tables and up to two gas BBQ grills with grilling utensils.) There is a $10 daily fee per person for use of the facilities.

An inviting space awaits after a day of adventure. Between the bedrooms and living areas spread across three floors, everyone has ample room to enjoy. The decks are in the back with tree views. Start the day with coffee while taking in the natural surroundings.

The first floor is the perfect retreat for children and offers a charming bunk room. (The top bunks are built to support children only; do not exceed 175 pounds. A washer/dryer rounds out this floor's perks.

On the second floor, you'll discover the main level. Settle into comfortable furnishings and enjoy your favorite shows on the TV with cable and streaming services accessible using your own accounts. Warm up on chilly nights by the wood-burning fireplace. The living area also has access to a covered deck with outdoor seating--a great spot to sip hot chocolate when the snow falls. When hunger strikes, there is a full kitchen and an extendable dining table.

The third floor hosts the coveted primary bedroom, which is airy, spacious, and the ultimate hideaway. It is accompanied by a pristine en suite bathroom for convenience and comfort.

Nice location for ski-in (assuming enuf snow)

Great location for ski-in when there is enough snow coverage which was the case. Very clean property with nice beds/beddiing. Love the super sharp chef's knife and full complement of cooking/baking dishes (albeit dated). Plenty of plateware, glasses and mugs. Overall bones of condo unit were great... fixtures and appliances are dated but all in working condition. Will definitely consider coming back. Thank you.

Enjoyed our stay

Our stay was seamless and great. Parking was easy out front, and the ski shuttle picked up right there by the car, only about 100 yards from the front door, so that made getting to the slopes really easy. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Older decor, but that didn't matter to us. Overall, a great stay. Thanks.

Great stay, close to the village

This townhouse is a bit old, the decor is a bit weird, but it was perfect for our weekend after a lot of snow dumped on the mountain a weeks ago 🙂❄️ it’s very well equipped and 3 minutes walk to the shuttle stop, which goes directly to the village. Or you can walk uphill for about 15 min through a walking path that was opened despite the snow. We used it to ski back to the townhouse at the end of the day. Terrific WiFi with over 200Mbs down. Unlike some previous renters we had no communication issues. Will come back!

Hello, We stayed at one of your rental places in the Lake Tahoe area from 5/27 to 5/29. We ended enjoying our stay however, we had a rough start. The home we originally rented had excessive water damage in the guest bedroom, to the point that large parts of the ceiling, Sheetrock and insulation, were all over the room and there was water and other liquids on the beds. We were unsure how safe the house was so we kept our children outside, with my wife while we tried to figure something out. Once we received another place to stay, the key pin was wrong and we spent about half an hour trying to get into the other place, the entire time we were outside with our kids in the cold and dark while we tried figuring out the correct key pin with one of your representatives. We finally figured it out to open it but could not get the key out to lock the door. We informed you guys of this and was told by one of your representatives that someone would come out and look at it. We were told that someone would come on Saturday but no one did, and they let us know Sunday as we were getting ready to head out that they were coming, and were 30 minutes away so we waited that time for them to arrive yet no one did so we informed them that we were leaving since we had a long drive back. Due to these events on the first night and not being able to lock the door we did not have the best experience there. We understand that this was an accident and things happen however it makes us wonder how often these properties get checked or looked over after guest leave or after other guests are scheduled to arrive which would have lead to someone finding and resolving this issue or at least not having it available for rental until the issue was resolved.

Just the best!

We loved the view from the condo and the location near hiking, and also to the Lake and to Truckee!
