Living in the old castle Hersdorf

Pure village life: Our castle (built in 1509) is located in the middle of the picturesque Schönecker Switzerland in the old and quiet village of Hersdorf.
Our comfortably furnished apartment in the former barn is an ideal starting point for hikes and explorations of the Eifel - from the volcanic Eifel with the Maaren on the Hohe Venn up to Luxembourg.
Guests with children are as welcome as guests with pets.
Just come here and let your mind wander.

Alles war wie beschrieben, eine sehr schöne, saubere Unterkunft mit sehr ruhiger Umgebung. Tolle, malerische Wälder für lange Spziergänge und Wanderungen.

Wir haben eine gut ausgestattete Unterkunft, nach Beschreibung, erwartet und auch bekommen. Danke Für das Aprilwetter kann die Gastgeberin nichts :) Es sind viele Wanderkartenmaterialien im Angebot gewesen und die Gastgeberin hatte noch ein paar Infos. Die Ortschaft selber ist sehr ruhig und Gerolstein nur einen Katzensprung entfernt. Wer allerdings einen vernünftigen Kontakt zum App-Anbieter erwartet, ist leider falsch aufgehoben.

Entspannter Wanderurlaub in besonderer Atmosphäre
Es war ein sehr schöner Kurzurlaub in besonderer angenehmer Umgebung. Die Gastgeber sind herzlich und unkompliziert, die Ferienwohnung ist besonders und geräumig. Die Austattung ist sehr luxuriös und komfortabel. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die Gegend lädt zum Wandern ein. Wir können den Aufenthalt in der Alten Burg Hersdorf nur empfehlen.

Entspannter Kurzurlaub in der Natur
Die modern kernsanierte Scheune bietet viel Raum und ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Der große Holzofen mit Sichtfenster spendet eine wohlige Wärme, die bis in die obere Etage zieht, wo sich ein bequemes Doppelbett befindet. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man zum Kochen braucht. Die Ruhe der Umgebung ist sehr wohltuend. Schöne Wanderrouten sind in der Nähe zahlreich.

Wir hatten eine sehr erholsame Zeit in der Eifel. Julietta, Muri und Sharifah waren immer sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung war sauber und es war alles vorhanden was wir benötigten. Fuer Ausflugsziele findet sich einiges an Informationsmaterial in der Ferienwohnung. Während unserer Zeit war es Tageweise ueber 30Grad warm, die Wohnung war aber immer angenehm kuehl. Unsere Favoriten waren: Felsenweg in Gerolstein, Burgenrunde in Manderscheid, Teile des Schneifelpfades und der Wascheider Stausee zum Baden. Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit.

Rust op het platteland
Fijne rustige vakantiewoning in de aanbouw van een historisch gebouw (kasteeltje uit 1509). Voorzien van alle gemakken en een hele goede uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen in de omgeving en het bezoeken van bezienswaardigheden. De gasvrouw en haar zoon staan altijd klaar voor informatie en advies.

Heerlijk stil, huisje heeft een gezellige uitstraling, niet perfect maar zeer compleet. Eigenaresse is hartelijk en heeft veel kennis en ervaring met de omgeving. Prachtig natuurgebied om de hoek.

Wir haben in dieser hübschen Ferienwohnung einen tollen Urlaub verbracht. Es war alles da, was man benötigt. Auch die Waschmaschine konnten wir nach Absprache mit der Vermieterin benutzen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten haben wir schon vor Urlaubsantritt bei ihr erfragen können, da im Dorf selbst keine mehr vorhanden sind.

Een idyllische omgeving, waar je heerlijk tot rust kunt komen.
Deze woning uit 1507 is goed uitgerust ( misten alleen een kledingkast )met een heerlijk binnenplaats met veranda waar je heerlijk kunt zitten. Wifi werkte heel goed, maar hadden verder geen bereik. Eigenares was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Helaas moesten we ivm met ziekte eerder naar huis...Prachtige, rustige omgeving!! Zeer zeker de moeite waard!!
