Worst rental booking experience ever!! My partner and I work remotely so we travel a lot and have a lot of experience booking in different locations and have never seen anything like this. We first booked this rental under his name and then received a check-in registration that asked for his ID and a selfie. He did not feel comfortable giving out so much digital information so we called to cancel the booking and rebooked it under my name. I submitted my ID and selfie and paid with his card. Because my name did not match his credit card, they sent us a Docusign agreement to ask for consent to charge the card, we signed it. A few minutes later, we were asked to submit a photo of his ID and credit card!! When we arrived, the internet was down so we tried plugging and unplugging the modem. Emailed the company and they said there was nothing they could do. The internet at the rental was down the entire time since we booked the rental until we left.
The property itself is really beautiful. It was right downtown so everything was within walking distance and very convenient to get to. Please please change the property management group you are using (Nomadic Vacation Rentals). We would definitely book again only if it's a different management company since the place itself was beautiful. So please, if you are the owner of the property reading this-change your management company!!
