Cozy cottage

This place has everything a small family needs for a short stay. The small kitchen was well-appointed for being able to prepare meals and having a full-sized table was great. The neighborhood was quiet and nice. We had a concern and elevated it to the property manager who responded promptly and pleasantly.

Des Moines house.

The house was ok. But the bathroom is ridiculous. You can’t sit on the toilet without turning sideways, the shower is tiny and half the light switches in the house don’t work and the headboard is broken and makes a noise constantly when you are in the bedroom trying to sleep.

Cozy home with all the necessities!

I attended the Des Moines Kennel Club dog show at the Iowa State fairgrounds and this was a great cozy home for our visit. Immaculate, had all the necessities and the management team was very helpful and communicative. I will definitely consider this home for future visits to the Des Moines area.

Rodeo getaway

We really enjoyed the cozy little house. It was a very quiet neighborhood. The only suggestion would be for someone to cut the limbs above the shed because it was hard to see the house numbers the 1st day. Otherwise we really enjoyed it

Small little home. Nice neighborhood.

Was fine for our needs. We did not have wifii during our stay, which was a bummer. We were able to communicate with management many times (nice and helpful person) but in the end, no wifii. Apparently the wires were cut by landscaping company. We were out until late every night so it wasnt a huge issue for us overall. Note: bathroom very small. Picture (I saw in order to make my decision to stay there) was misleading as to which of the houses in picture the vrbo home was. House is behind a sort of storage unit or two? I noticed the pictures were updated while we were on our trip and are now more accurate. House itself is not completely remodled. Bathroom could use a better floorplan. Black Cat Ice cream was awesome. One perk we found in neighborhood.

Great location & very responsive manager

Property looks a little different from what you would expect when you see the inside photographs. House is compact but amenities are all available. I had issues when I got to the house with the cleanliness and I contacted the manager. He was very prompt and had the cleaner come back after check in. I know that I am staying in a location that other people have stayed in previously, but I don't want to be reminded. If I pay a cleaning fee, I expect the residence to be clean. Check out was OK.

46th Street

The cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. Neighborhood was very quiet. Linens and towels were soft and plush. Kitchen has all the cookware and utensils you need. Furniture was clean. All new appliances in kitchen. Only drawback was small bathroom that is off the kitchen, but ceilings in bathroom were tall so seems bigger. And shower insert was nice for such a small area.

Wow, what a great place! My daughter and I were visiting family for a few days and this little gem was our little home away from home. Can’t say enough great things about this place. Loved how clean it was, anything you might need in the kitchen and the washer and dryer was an added bonus. Beds were very comfortable and sheets nice and soft. Sure the bathroom is tiny but was again super clean and well appointed with anything we might need. I would highly recommend this adorable little cottage.

One caveat

The small house was cozy and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed, including a lovely washer/dryer. Communication was clear. The only caveat would be that this is not a place for someone who is larger than average. It has a regular size double bed (as advertised) and the twin bed would be most suitable for a child. The bathroom is small and only accommodates one person at a time. All in all it fit our needs well, but would not be right for everyone.

The neighborhood is super cute, very safe. There’s a playground not that far away. Very clean. Perfect for my daughter and I. Internet is very spotty.

The house was in a convenient location. The house was updated very nice. I slept in the twin bed and it was comfortable. It is not luxury but nice and we felt safe. As noted in the description, small bathroom.

Had a lovely week here, the house was clean and cozy, an easy check-in, quiet neighborhood. We did have some trouble with the wi-fi, but communication was very quick so we did get it resolved soon!

Cute little place close to University and West Des Moines

We enjoyed a fun girls weekend at this house. It’s small but had everything we needed. Many great restaurants within 5-15 min. from the house. Set back from the street, we had a quiet nights sleep in comfortable beds. The bathroom is quite tiny, but worked for us, fyi there’s a shower stall only. They provided basics like coffee and tea, toiletries, and were good communicators and responsive. We would definitely considering staying here again if we ever visit the area, as it was a good value.

I am attached at the hip to my beautiful partner Sage Honga of 8 years and counting - and as of recently we have the most beautiful daughter who was born on June 3rd, 2020 right here in Scottsdale.
