Luxury condo with fabulous views of expansive, half moon shaped Birch Bay. Feel yourself relax the longer you enjoy the view! Located across the street from and in the center of the bay. Enjoy outside moments on your private balcony. Watch blue herons fishing and eagles soaring and diving for a meal without leaving your condo. In the summer sit on adirondack chairs on the back porch and watch the sun rise over Mt Baker through the trees while fragrant coffee brews in your kitchen. Take pictures of beautiful sunsets and views of the Gulf Islands from the balcony or from the beach park across the street. On clear mornings the snow-capped mountains of Canada peak over the trees surrounding the bay. Beautifully furnished condo with full kitchen, stainless steel appliances and granite counters. High end bathrooms with heated floors, jetted tub in master bath. From the master bedroom king size bed fall asleep and wake up to the sound of waves breaking in the bay.

Fun summertime activities and a quiet off season for retreating: long walks and curling up with a good book and your favorite beverage. During summer enjoy family activities of digging clams, making sandcastles, flying kites, wading in the shallow tide flats and gathering shells and rocks. Savor beach fires, smores or a bottle of wine and a sunset. Bring your own water 'toys' or rent locally: sailing, windsurfing, kayaking. Easy bicycling for miles and long beach hikes. Fine dining is an easy walk away.

Fifty miles to Mt Baker ski area, hiking, climbing and photo ops. Within twenty minutes of great shopping in Bellingham and in historic Fairhaven. Bellingham airport 20 minutes away. International flavor in Vancouver BC is just 35 minutes away. Six miles to the Canadian/US border. Twelve miles to the east is Dutch themed mainstreet Lynden.

Semiahmoo and Loomis Creek golf courses within 10 miles. State park within walking distance and a broad beach and picnic area to accomodate larger groups.

The broad tide flats of Birch Bay encourage beachcombing, clamming, crabbing, eagle watching and moonlight strolls. This is just a perfect get-away any time of year.

Seasonal whale watching and kayak tours within several miles of Birch Bay as well as year round charter fishing.

Beautiful nice Condo

Very nice Condo unit, very clean, has just about everything already there, great view of Birch Bay out front deck, has 2 nice chairs at door entrance where you can sit and have a cup of coffee and enjoy the warm sun before it goes overhead, comfortable beds, nice furniture, convenient parking underneath canopy for this unit. All in all, was a wonderful place to stay for us and close to home for a great get away and to sit in the sun and read a book. Thank you

Lovely, Restful Getaway

The condo in Birch Bay was delightful! It had all the necessary amenities, and then more. The view was amazing and restful; we spent most evenings on the balcony/porch watching the sun go down. Unfortunately the hot tub and coffee shop were not available during our stay, but, considering the ease of the location, we were able to walk to just about anything that we wanted to see in the town. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone who wants to escape for a while.

Wonderful time

Paul & Betty’s place is perfection. This is our fourth time staying in there beautiful home and we always enjoy our time here. They truly think of everything. Pots, pans, utensils, spices, and all the bed/bath necessities needed for a very comfortable stay. The views and sunsets are always incredible! Thank you both for your kind hospitality. Our Happy Place

There is just something about Birch Bay that always makes me smile! Our 3rd time in Paul & Betty’s beautiful home overlooking the beach and we had another wonderful stay. They make everything so easy. Their unit has everything one might need for any meal preparation. The location is central to any and all activities and the unit itself remains pristine. Delightful vacation home

This is the second time we have stayed at Paul and Betty’s Birch Bay condominium. Stayed for a week this time. Paul helped us figure out the air conditioning the first night and we began a very fun, beautiful, pleasant week. Son, daughter-in-law and grandson joined us Thursday. The unit is quite large, has a great view, is well furnished and well located on the bay. We will be back. Quite wheelchair accessible.

Birch Bay Vacay

My husband and I spent a week with our son and his wife. The condo is very fresh and well equipped. The sunsets from the balcony are incredible. The hot tub had just been repaired so we were able to enjoy it as well. The 7 Elements Day Spa on the property was having their grand opening. I had a wonderful massage. Birch Bay is a very convenient location. We went to Vancouver for the day and to Bellingham several times. I highly recommend San Juan Excursions for the whale watching tour. Thank you Paul and Betty!

Great condo, completely wheelchair accessible

This condo and its owners are great. I have stayed here twice and look forward to another return visit someday. I love sitting on the balcony and watching the sun set. For those with accessibility needs, specifically mobility, this condo is a great option. This year I brought my elderly parents, one of whom can only walk very short distances (10 feet or less). We use a manual push/no-assist wheelchair to help get him around longer distances. From a wheelchair perspective, you can get from the parking lot, to the elevators, in/out of the elevators, and into the condo with zero steps. The parking lot is very flat and nicely paved. The ramps from the parking lot to the elevators have a moderate incline and are not steep. There are two elevators at the complex, which was a lifesaver because one elevator was being repaired during our stay. There are no steps inside the condo or attached balcony. The master bath has a walk-in shower, which my father was able to use easily.

Amazing waterfront Birch Bay condo

Our first stay at Birch Bay and we were so lucky to have been able to enjoy it in this immaculate, well equipped, and tastefully furnished condo. It had everything needed for a perfect 2 weeks of peace and relaxation. The cool ocean breezes, exceptional bay views and colorful sunsets were all amazing. Wonderful Place to Stay on the Bay

Spotless, well-appointed condo on an interesting part of Birch Bay. Everything worked well. We enjoyed watching the tide changes and bird activity (many eagle sightings). A couple of casual places for food and beverages in Birch Bay, and a good grocery store in Ferndale which is only a 15 minute drive away. Highly recommend this condo as a great place for relaxing and some peace and quiet..

Wonderful stay!

Another wonderful stay at Paul & Betty’s beautiful Birch Bay home. Our third year in their unit. Everything was perfectly stocked with anything one might need for cooking. Very thoughtful. It was spotlessly clean and everything in working order. The weather was perfect and we went clam digging almost every day. The new walking paths were great. We enjoyed every morning. Thank you both for such a fun filled week. We hope to be back soon!

My wife and I chose Birch Bay after staying at friends' condos and falling in love with the area. It is the 'aahh' factor when rounding the corner and the bay comes into view. Less than 2 hours from Seattle, we enter a relaxed and laid back world, away from the crowds of the metropolitan area, and enjoy a delightful weekend retreat. We love the smell of salty, sea air and the sounds of waves in the bay. Birds and wildlife are right at our feet, as well as hiking and climbing in the mountains an hour away.

Why they chose this property

The new, contemporary construction, and amazing unobstructed views from this building really appealed to the two of us. We have a quiet condo with excellent sound-proofing and with understated luxury. We also love the international flavor with Canada so close by and the friendly, hospitable community of Birch Bay. Within easy driving distance are a half dozen wineries as well as farms with fresh produce, cheese and other dairy products, and great shopping centers to engage in 'retail therapy.'

What makes this property unique

We are an end condo unit, so the views from the windows on the west and north are amazing. The beach walks are just down the stairs and across the street. Excellent dining out opportunities within walking distance. Semiahmoo is just a 12 minute drive at the end a wonderful spit. It is great for long walks, fine NW dining, with great views of water, sunsets, and lights of the city of White Rock at night.
