1890 Graystone Cottage behind Historic Home short walk to Downtown & Whiskey Row
This well appointed cottage is a new build in the style of the original 1890s Four Square house sharing the property and is four blocks to the Town Square and Courthouse. The original house has been placed on the historic register and lays within the East Prescott Historic District. The bricks are the original chimney bricks from the fireplaces and wainscoting on the walls have the original paint. The hall light fixture is original to the house and the bathroom light fixtures are from a 1800 cattle ranch in Australia. The pictures are 1960’s original watercolors of the Prescott and Arizona landscape. The cottage suite has a private entrance, a small covered patio shared with a old wood-burning cookstoves, and a welcoming purple door. The raised deck, bbq and fire pit belong to the main house. The courthouse square is a short walk and a great place to enjoy the beautiful courthouse and tall elms trees. Maybe enjoy an ice cream or a drink from the Palace balcony. There are art and craft fairs, parades, car shows, the famous Fourth of July Rodeo which boasts the oldest rodeo in the USA. A famous Halloween where they close Mount Vernon Street and young and old come in costumes to trick-or-treat! Christmas tree lighting in the park square and a famous boot drop on New Year’s Eve. Great hiking and three lakes to choose from. The beautiful tall elms and many Victorian homes dating to the 1880s. Three close wineries, whiskey tasting, mead tasting and a variety of pubs. Down the alley is Berry’s Pie shop where you can order a hot pie. There is a lot happening in this western town.

This property is just adorable and perfect for a stay! The decor is amazing and it has everything you may need! The hosts were great in communication and the location is perfect on a really cute street with easy access to Whisky Row, etc. I highly recommend this cottage! We will gladly stay again!
Came from Hot Mesa to enjoy some cooler weather, attend the arts and wine festival, and enjoy the awesome eateries in the area. The place was wonderful, would highly recommend.
Great response and communication. Place was perfectly situated central to Prescott. Place had all the amenities and everything inside was extremely nice. Great stay...will definitely be back.
Beautifully decorated. Very comfortable bed. Great location. Lots of little extras to make your stay nice. Would definitely stay again. Excellent host.
Absolutely loved this vrbo! We will definitely be staying here again! Host Cyndi was so easy to communicate with and put a lot of heart into the beautifully decorated unit . Walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants and entertainment. Great find!!! ❤️
This cute, well-appointed studio apartment oozes period charm like the leaded glass door and transom, and tons of decorative touches. Clean and comfy! A perfect little getaway.
Stayed at unit for 12 days. Quiet. Good AC. Nicely furnished. Great location. Convenient to downtown - close enough to walk. A small dresser would be nice so you don't have to live out of your suitcase on an extended stay. Need to do better with ants - I had to buy some RAID.
Loved the property! Checked in at 11am.
Temp was in high 90s. No instructions for the ac. Sweltering hot. It was midnight before we got cold air the first night. Everything was excellent after that.
We would totally stay here again! Location was great, the cottage was perfect for us. The owners were so kind to give us a bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary. If you want a clean and comfortable place to stay that is walking distance to Historical District…this definitely is the place! Thanks again for making us feel welcome.

Why they chose this property
The whole property is a labor of love, with focus on Restoration and historic details. But with a modern twist! The Cottage, has original bricks and wainscoting, lights from the original 1890 House. With leaded glass Tiffany lamp and leaded transom above the door, Matching the Historic home. It is a small space but very Cosy. The bathroom is a modern match to the historic home. Rest and Relaxation with the Garden, Peach tree, Quaking Aspen, Grapes and Blackberry, Hummingbirds and wind bells and the family wood burning kitchen stove. The quiet neighborhood and close proximity to all things Prescott.
What makes this property unique
Close to down town, with quiet neighborhood surroundings. Walk to pie shop or across the street for coffee, breakfast or lunch. Bike shop is at the end of the Alley. Lucy D’s BBQ just up the street.
