Fabulous 2 weeks in Maui

We stayed in J121 in Maui Kamaole for two weeks and everything about the rental experience was excellent. When I first reached out to RentalsMaui with our budget and timeframe, they were prompt and helpful with their suggestions. We did a lot of research into where we wanted to be and the type of unit etc. After lots of back and forth, the MauiRentals employees always patiently answered my questions and addressed my concerns. We finally made the booking and awaited our holiday. The directions and check-in instructions were extremely detailed and we had no problem getting to the unit, even though it was midnight! The condo was clean and very well-appointed. The designated parking spot was very close, and the pool was a few short steps across the parking lot. We even had a view of the ocean from our peaceful lanai. I walked to the beach every morning (about 6 minutes, 8 minutes to return because it's uphill) and we could also walk to many shops and restaurants. We had beach chairs, sand mats,umbrellas, and towels to take to the beach, where we went every morning. We usually drove to Keawakapu Beach which was 3 minute drive with easy parking. The washer/dryer in the unit was useful for washing the towels and other laundry. We didn't cook much in the condo other than breakfast but the kitchen seemed well-supplied. If we had been cooking daily, we would have run out of dish soap, garbage bags, and dishwasher tabs. I did bring my own laundry soap, although I think there was some in the unit. One small negative was the poor quality of the bath soap. We were two seniors, so the condo itself was more than enough room. With the pull out couch, the condo would be great for two adults, two children. Maui Kamaole is a beautiful, quiet resort that is extremely well-maintained. We only used the upper of the two pools, because it was most convenient. It was busy at times, but we could always get a chair.
