Mom’s Birthday

Property was exceptional, extremely clean on the inside, no surprises. The view from the balconies were breathtaking. Plenty of wood-crafted chairs to enjoy the morning sunrise and evening sunset. Communication throughout the entire process was amazing. Lots of great pictures of the local bears. Thanks Bobby and Misty!

Beautiful home high in the Mountains. Awesome views

Owners love this home and really takes care of it. Pictures are exactly as portrayed. Kitchen adequate but I really needed more directions on stove top use for induction equipment. Had to youtube for directions. There was no potato masher but the electric mixer did work as a replacement. I would have appreciated a heads up about the scorpions. I did get stung drying off after a shower as it was in the hanging towel. We are from Michigan and expected bugs and critters but we didn't know about the scorpions. The bear cubs on the porch was a special treat and loved by everyone.

Beautiful Property- Dangerous Road

The property was lovely and the views were amazing. Nice property. But, I do think people should be made aware that the road to get to the house is very steep and curvy- and does not have guard rails. We were not able to stay because of that (leaving and coming back to go do things was not going to work for the kids and a few adults) and we had to get a hotel instead.

Beautiful

We had a wonderful stay! It was beautiful views and the house was decorated and cozy. If going in the winter months these roads are not priority for the city. The city says the property owners are responsible for private roads. There was a 23 car pile up because of snow and ice. The towing company wasn’t able to get to anyone and 4wheel drove doesn’t help if your sliding down a mountain. Road closure was reported to us from a nearby cabin. I wish we would have been told that through whoever manages the property because we just so happened to stumble across other people when walking the roads to see how bad the roads were. However, the property manager we spoke to throughout our trip was very responsive and worked with us when the road was closed. We watched the weather closely and it was supposed to be light snow turned into a winter weather storm warning. We would have left a day early if we had known it was going to do that. Mother Nature is unexpected and we have never been in the mountains before. There is also a cab/tow business in the area that we were given a number for from people walking. My only complaint is that we had to get our own resources and information through neighboring travelers or the city. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay and to get to talk with someone who was quick to respond was amazing. We sent off the rental link to many friends and family who looked at photos. The photos do not do it justice either!

Not as expected.

There was a big spider web in the window in main floor bedroom. Bath door wouldn't open but about 45 degrees which put it right in front of the toilet. Shower light was out and we couldn't hang clothes in the closet because of all of the junk in there. The tub in the bath next to the kitchen wouldn't drain until my son in law worked on it. House was overall dirty and some of the kitchen pans were unusable. The air on the lower level did not work properly so the temperature never got below 75 degrees. There was also a bear that came around every day. He tried to get into the cars and damaged the tonneau cover on my son in law's truck to the point he has to buy a new one. There was no food in the vehicles. He also tore up a cover for a grill we carried that was cleaned and on the front porch. The drive up to the cabin was scary and the driveway was awful, but the views were fantastic.

Great views

The cabin has immaculate views! Be aware that the road coming in is very narrow, steep, and has no guard rail. A car rolled down the mountain while we were here so please be very careful. Any freezing conditions would require 4wd with chained tires in my opinion. Driveway is also very steep but a 2wd vehicle can get in and out in dry conditions no problem. The cabin looks to be updated and has nice appliances, etc. Parking space is very limited so 2 full size vehicles will play a bit of musical vehicles to get out. I will say again the cabin itself is very nice but we did encounter A LOT of dog hair throughout the house in every room and on everything. From what I understand this is a non pet facility and our family has allergies to pet hair/dander so there was some difficulty there. Please people don't bring your pets if it is a non pet friendly cabin. If it wasn't a renter then obviously this is an issue. But if you want the best view in Pigeon Forge, this is it.

Stunning View and Clean

The view was amazing. Cabins often seem dark and sometimes dirty to me, as I'm a city girl at heart. But this cabin was very clean. And the mid century modern decor brings a brightness to the place. It's the best of both worlds. The home is about 3 miles up the mountain, which gives you the amazing view. With that, younger children must be supervised due to the steep drops and possible wildlife. We did see a bear cross the road, about 50 feet from the driveway, which was awesome! Bathrooms were wonderful. All had waterfall showers and even better, heated floors!!!! Some had a tub, but I never made it there. The owners were very responsive. There was a plumbing issue, that could happen anywhere. They had plumbers to our doorstep in less than an hour. Everything was taken care of and didn't interfere with our vacation at all. All in all, I would book this spot again. It was great for my family that loves the woods, and still great for me, the city girl.

Family Breakout

This property is amazing and the pictures don't give you how beautiful it is. We visited with 3 adults, 1 teen-ager, and 2 smaller children. There was more than enough space and all the bathrooms are amazing I would suggest mats for the showers as an older person may slip and slid but the flooring is beautiful. My other suggestion would be manuals for the appliances there awesome and high-tech but I fought and then googled how to turn on the dishwasher. The views are to die for and we spent most of our time on one of the 4 porches. The owners were in communication from check in to check out and made us feel so welcomed. We will definitely be renting this cabin again for our crew. Thanks so much for some great memories.
