We had a nice stay! The home is comfortable and everything we needed was provided. Communication with the owner and directions to the house were very clear.
Enjoyed our quick mountain getaway in this lovely home. Very relaxing, well-appointed and beautifully decorated. The porch was a special treat at the beginning and end of each day!
My stay was amazing we had 2 verbo on the trip first place nothing to right home about very unorganized but the second place blew me away really made the trip for us very relaxing and quit huge walk around porch beds were great very organized and responsible people running the place property was beautiful has a good yard as well overall a great place for a family to stay or even if just a couple friends getting together I would recommend this place to anyone
A quiet and peaceful retreat with awesome views. Perfect for a girl's getaway. The owner was very responsive. Overall, a pleasant experience. Would book again.
We could tell the moment we walked through the door, that this was going to be a great stay! The home smelled fresh, the bedding was comfortable and fashionable, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. The location felt remote, although it was still close to Asheville and local attractions. The hosts (Alison and her husband) went above and beyond to bring firewood and start the fire in the wood stove/fireplace for us! We had a relaxing "girls weekend" and highly recommend this property.
The pictures don't do it justice. The neighborhood is quiet and the cabin sits back from the road providing postcard worthy views of the mountains. The beds were super comfortable, we never turned on a TV. We did use the bose speakers to play music while hanging out on the porch. We joked that we were 30 minutes from anywhere, seriously easy to get to downtown Asheville, we were also 30 minutes from the wedding venue - very conveniently located. We are already looking at the calendar to see when we can come up again.
This was a perfect place to relax and explore the surrounding areas of Asheville, Black Mountain, and Hickory. The cabin was super cozy with a wonderful view from the front porch. Very nice kitchen and accessories; great wifi; cozy living room. This was a great place for our stay by two couples. Communication with the owner was easy and timely. One thing to consider if booking is the master bedroom is upstairs but has no bathroom. Both bathrooms are downstairs which resulted in the MBR not being used. Nonetheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay as well as some great spots in the small community of Fairview. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you are looking to relax in the NC mountains.
Lovely little home way back off the road. Perfect place for a quiet little get away. Would happily stay here again!!
