Completely remodeled from head to bottom, this adorable cabin is perfect to come home to after a day of hiking around Mt Rainier. Furnished with comfort in mind.
The beautiful, tree filled grounds include a fire pit, BBQ area, picnic table and 6 person hot tub. Please note that during fire season, the fire pit is not to be used.
Just five miles from the Nisqually Entrance, the only entrance that is open year round, of Mount Rainier. One could spend a month and hike every day and not even make a dent in all of the beautiful trails surrounding Ashford.
The cabin is centrally located to the galleries and restaurants in town.
The hot tub is private and open air to gaze at the stars. During the infamous rain that Washington is known for, there is a umbrella to cover you. Absolutely no glass or food is allowed in the hot tub area.

Came for a day of snowshoeing on Mount Rainier. The cabin was in good proximity. It was relaxing and pleasant. Great games, bathroom, kitchen and hot tub. The owner was quick to respond to my questions
We had a great stay! Our teenager loved the loft, we had everything we needed for a cozy and relaxing stay in the woods. We will definitely come back next time we plan to visit the area!
We had such a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin. The loft was fun for our daughter, perfect outdoor amenities and so welcoming inside. Would definitely stay again!
Lovely home, clean, well stocked, comfortable beds, great location near entrance to Mt. Rainier. Hot tub was a great feature after hiking. Home is bright and cheerful and obviously loved. We would stay here again.
Absolutely adorable little cottage! The hot tub and the fire pit were welcome amenities after solid days of hiking! Well equipped home and a great location just outside of the entrance to the park. When we venture back to the Pacific Northwest we would absolutely stay here again!
Host super helpful.
House a gem with nice staircase.
Bed's comfortable and great bed linen.
Garden hangouts a pleasure to be in (fire place, front door bench, table at rear)
Wonderful activity supplies.
Would love come again.
We had a wonderful visit. The house is perfect! The location cannot be beat for access into the Paradise entrance to Mt. Rainier. The house is a great place to relax after a long hike.
Very cute and comfortable stay near entrance to Rainier National Park. The home was clean and quiet. We especially enjoyed the hot tub during in the evening after a long day of hiking. Nice restaurants are located within a few minutes drive. If you like curry, check out Wildberries.
This place is perfect for a quiet, peaceful place to recharge. My husband and I came here to do as much relaxing as possible, this place was perfect for it!
We really enjoyed our stay. The home was well equipped with everything we needed. Weather was not so great so we didn't really use the outdoor amenities but it was a great outdoor area.
What a cute little cabin! This house was perfect for our stay at Mt. Rainier. It’s close to the park entrance, there are several close restaurants, and the house was well stocked with everything we needed. Plus the outdoor area was great for playing games and enjoying the beautiful weather. The house was exactly as described!
The house was perfect for our family. It was generously stocked with random cooking and cleaning supplies. Super clean and comfortable. The setting was picturesque. Just minutes away from the park entrance. Highly recommend the nearby Rainier base camp restaurant just down the road.
This small cabin was perfect. It’s cozy and unique, and it has all the essential amenities and more for and enjoyable stay. It’s perfectly situated halfway between downtown Ashford and the park entrance. The host was responsive and accommodating. Overall, the experience was all I could ask for.
Girlfriend and I and 2 dogs had such a nice stay. Host was very nice and responsive, property was clean and beautiful, and the hot tub was private and relaxing. Would love to stay again!
This is one of the best VRBO experiences we have ever had. The property was exactly as listed. It was in a great location just minutes from the park entrance. It was very well stocked with very kitchen item we wanted. Many board games. The hot tub was clean and combined with the fire pit made this a beautiful little oasis. The owner communicated everything well and texted us during the stay to check in and make sure everything was going ok. We will definitely come back in the summer.
It was a very short stay, just one night visiting family. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. We would like to come back when we have more time. I grew up less than a mile from the cabin and I love the Ashford area
This has been one of my favorite little cabins! When you pull up you feel right at home. Great porch, fire pit and private jacuzzi outside, tucked just behind the cabin. The cabin itself has a great layout, great kitchen, and washer and dryer were a nice feature if you have a longer stay. Thank you Jacqulyn for being a great host!
The property and home were super clean, easy to use, well-supplied with everything we needed, and just quiet and lovely. We sat around the campfire, played cornhole, used the hot tub, played games at the kitchen table, and enjoyed a gorgeous sunset through the trees from the front porch.
The house itself is quite small and can require some strategic movement for cooking and meals, but even still, the use of space is efficient and we were able to sleep six quite nicely. There is a sleeping loft up a spiral staircase, which worked well for the teens but would not for someone with mobility issues. The other four sleep spaces are downstairs and worked well for the older/less mobile adults.
The host was very prompt and helpful in communications, the restaurant recommendations were superb, and the clean-up/check-out process was the easiest and most gracious we've ever come across.
If we'd thought of it, we would have brought a mat and sleeping bag so the two teens wouldn't have to share a bed! But that's on us. :)
Thank you for the lovely stay!

I’m a native Washingtonian who fell in love with Mt Rainier as a little girl. There is no better place to “lose your mind and find your soul” than when hiking this majestic mountain. We are so honored to share our place and we hope we can help make the same wonderful memories that Mount Rainier has given to us.
Why they chose this property
We are located in the center of Ashford, and under 5 miles from the Nisqually entrance to Mount Rainier National Park. Nisqually is the only entrance to the park that is open year round.
What makes this property unique
We have poured our love into this cabin and have made it so comfortable. It is my favorite place to go after hiking. From soaking in the jetted hot tub, to falling into a deep after home sleep in the memory foam beds. The place is small but mighty!
