In a beautiful hillside location, on a high plateau near Triopetra, with a wide view of the Libyan Sea, lies the holiday home Marco-View, at a distance of approx. 5m between the semi-detached house Maria-Triopetra, Vangelis-Triopetra and the house Despoina-Triopetra. As far as the eye can see, the view extends over hills and valleys to olive groves and the Mediterranean maquis off the south coast and the sea.

The stone house Marco-View stands alone with its own enclosed front garden and is simply and originally furnished. All the best conditions for a carefree beach holiday, close to the sea and nature. A small kitchen garden, colourful flowers in front of the holiday home and the terrace complete the picture of this house.
Ground-floor access to the house with a covered terrace in front of it and wonderful sea views. The spacious living room with adjoining kitchen area and direct access to the terrace and front garden is adjoined by the 2 bedrooms and the bathroom.

What awaits you in this corner of the south coast of Crete is tranquility, seclusion, Mediterranean rural idyll, a charming coastal landscape, great sandy beaches and a very clean sea. To the next village Akoumia it is about 10km, to Spili, where you will find a rich shopping offer, it is about 20km.

There are several tavernas directly on the large Triopetra or larger Triopetra beach, approx. 2.5 to 3 kilometres from the Marco-View house.

wir haben uns insgesamt in dem Haus wohl gefühlt und dort 2 sehr schöne Wochen verbracht. Die Betten sind gut und die Fenster alle mit Fliegengittern ausgestattet. Auch wenn die Nachbarn nicht weit entfernt sind, hat man doch im Garten und auf der Terrasse einen sehr schönen und uneinsehbaren Bereich für sich, der windgeschützt und angenehm schattig ist. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir wurden mit griechischen Leckereien empfangen und auch zwischendurch damit beschenkt.

Ein kleines Paradies
Ich war mit meiner Hündin für 11 Tage im Haus von Vangelis, es war eine wunderschöne Zeit und Vangelis und seine Familie haben mich jeden Tag mit kleinen Geschenken aus ihrer Küche und Garten überrascht, sehr gastfreundlich und liebevoll. Triopetra ist noch immer wenig touristisch und ein Ort, an dem die Seele zur Ruhe kommen kann. Auch als Reise mit Hund sehr zu empfehlen! Ich komme gerne wieder!

The apartment is perfectly located just few minutes by car to beautiful Triopetra beach. It's quite spacious and it has nice garden with amazing view. The equipment is not the newest, but it was ok. We stayed there with two small kids and it was good for us and I recommend this place to other families.

Was hat uns gut gefallen? Vor allem die Gastfreundschaft des Vermieters. Gleich bei der Ankunft überraschte uns Vangelis mit selbst gebackenen Spinatküchlein, frischen Oliven aus dem eigenen Anbau und einem Glas super leckerer Orangenmarmelade. Es sollte nicht das letzte sein. Die noch warmen mit Spinat gefüllten Küchlein lagen fast täglich morgens auf der Terrasse und am letzten Tag gab es dazu noch die mit Reis gefüllten Weinblätter. Rings um die Ferienwohnung durften wir uns aus dem reichhaltigen Kräuterangebot, das Vangelis angelegt hat, bedienen. Frisch geerntetes Salbei, Rosmarin, Thymian, Petersilie, Lauchzwiebeln, Pfefferminze machten aus unseren Salaten und Gerichten ein aromatisches Erlebnis, wie wir es von zu Hause nicht gewohnt sind. Vom Wohnzimmer und von der Terrasse fällt der Blick auf die naheliegende, weit gestreckte Bucht von Triopetra und die umgebenden Berge, genauso wie auf dem Foto zu sehen ist, nur viel eindrucksvoller. Direkt von der Ferienwohnung aus kann man zwei Wanderungen unternehmen. Die erste führt eine kaum befahrenen Straße nach hinunter zum Strand von Triopetra, den man nach 20 Minuten erreicht. Dann führt ein Pfad, den man leicht findet (Steinmännchen), über den weit gestreckten Hang und die Klippen zum feinen Sandstrand von Agios Pavlos. Diese herrliche Bucht kann natürlich auch mit dem Auto angesteuert werden, man verzichtet dabei aber auf die phantastischen Ausblicke von der Steilküste herunter auf‘s Meer, die wilden Klippen und die Bucht von Agios Pavlos. Die zweite Wanderung führt zur Bergkapelle, die von allen Blickrichtungen aus auf der größten Erhebung von Triopetra (so heißt die gesamte Region) thront. Triopetra (so heißt die gesamte Küstenregion) ist vor allem ein Ort der Ruhe und Entspannung. Es gibt im Umkreis bis zur wunderschönen Bucht von Agios Pavlos (nur wenige Kilometer entfernt) ca. ein halbes Dutzend Tavernen, alle sehr zu empfehlen. Wer den allabendlichen Trubel, ein großes Angebot und viel Abwechslung sucht ist hier fehl am Platz. Nach Plakias, Ageos Galini oder Matala fährt man mit dem Auto jeweils ca. eine Stunde. Eine Busverbindung von oder nach Triopetra gibt es nicht. Ein Tipp noch zur Anreise: Am besten nutzt man die Abfahrt von Akoumia (ein sehr kleines Bergdorf mit engen Gassen, einem großen Platz vor der beachtlichen Kirche) nach Triopetra. Die Route über Agios Pavlos sollte man bei der Erstanreise lieber nicht benutzen, das erspart viele Kurven und auch viel Zeit, obwohl auch die Route von Akoumia nach Triopetra zur Serpentinenfahrt wird.

Die Lage und der Blick aus dem Haus ist einfach phänomenal. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Zeit ( knapp 3 Wochen) sehr genossen. Der Vermieter hatuns regelmäßig mit typisch griechischen Gerichten und Marmelade versorgt. Die Schlafzimmer sind super schön und das Bad mit dem Steinwaschbecken ist wirklich etwas besonderes. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen!!!!

Der Vermieter schaut täglich vorbei und bringt oft Eier, Brot, Oliven sowie von seiner Frau gekochte griechische Leckereien mit. Tomaten, Gurken, Lauchzwiebeln und Zitronensaft durften wir aus dem Garten ernten. Die Vermieter sind unheimlich gastfreundlich. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Dass der angegebene Fernseher nicht da war, war für uns (trotz EM) kein Problem.

This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Simple but with everything we needed, with a stunning view down over Triopetra beach. The instructions we were given made it easy to find, and when we arrived there were warm pastries, olives and fig jam waiting for us. The host, Vangelis, visited with more baking and treats for us in the morning and was incredibly kind, generous and helpful, gave us the full benefit of his local knowledge and his garden! We highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to stay near Tripetra (which should be everyone, as it is a stunning beach.)

We stayed at Vangelis and Maria house during August 2020. This was one of the best hosting experiences of my life. The house is on a hill and has an amazing view at the sea and the mountains. The patio is a beautiful and accommodating relax spot. The house is fully equipped and we really loved the nice and comfy beds. On top of all, and most important, was the treatment of Vangelis who would always come with treats and would try to look after us. Thank you Vangeli! PS: Great internet speeds as well.

Das Haus Markos hat einen traumhaften Blick zum Meer, einen kleinen Garten mit leckeren Kräutern (Pfefferminze, Basilikum etc.) und Gemüse (Tomaten, Auberginen etc.). Der Vermieter Vangelis kommt regelmäßig vorbei, um die Gäste mit leckerem Obst und Gemüse zu verwöhnen. Wenn nicht hier, wo soll man sich dann besser aufgehoben fühlen? In der Nacht kann man noch mit dem Blick in den traumhaften Sternenhimmel über dem Meer seinen Gedanken nachhängen. Vielen herzlichen Dank für diesen wunderschönen Urlaub. Αυτό το μέρος είναι πραγματικός παράδεισος. Πλήρως εξοπλισμένο για άνετη διαμονή. Η φιλοξενία παραδοσιακή κρητική! Πολύ κοντά στις μοναδικές παραλίες της Τριόπετρας και κοντά στους αμμόλοφους του Αγίου Παύλου. Ιδανικό για απόδραση και ηρεμία και αναζωογόνηση .
