About this property
Holiday house in the Bregenz Forest - Ferienhaus wenefrieda
The house interior lives on the first floor of a spacious open plan living space, which includes a kitchen unit, a dining table and comfortable sofa furniture. The wood-paneled room opens up to the gable and, on three sides, gives an impressive view of the landscape. In the living room you will find a freestanding wooden bookcase Annettes house library (flat screen integrated), which invites you to browse and enjoy. On the same floor is also a toilet, a small office (WLAN) and a charming reading area for the retreat to the private. In addition, a fire in the open fireplace can always provide cosiness. The interior is stylishly decorated, with selected furniture and artwork, and a love of detail. For chefs, the high-quality equipped kitchen (with Gaggenau steamer and -Induktionsherd) is a highlight. The covered terrace on the first floor offers enough space for a meal together.
On the ground floor, the wenefrieda has three double bedrooms, one with direct access to a bathroom with bath and shower. On this floor there is a second bathroom (also with shower) and another toilet. All bedrooms have direct access to the veranda. Translucent wooden sliding elements provide the right amount of sun and wind protection here.
Welcome to the Bregenzerwald, Schoppernau! The wenefrieda is a high class holiday home - an ideal place to recharge your batteries and find peace and quiet. The house is in the countryside and yet in close proximity to the village center of Schoppernau. Around an enchanting vegetable garden with a water well, two further family buildings create an idyllic courtyard situation. Children love the garden shed, the swing and the splashing at the fountain. The house wenefrieda is centrally located in Schoppernau and offers a wide range of recreational activities in all seasons. For skiers, hikers or bikers, the valley station of Diedamskopf is easily accessible. You walk a few minutes to the lift or get in front of the door in the ski bus. Also directly in front of the house is the entrance to the local cross-country ski trail (free with guest card). With Schibussen are also accessible from Schoppernau from the ski resorts Damüls, Salober-Warth (with access Lech Arlberg area). Not far away is the Schoppernauer swimming pool, a tennis court and an adventure playground. In the house are card and board games and puzzles.
The square in front of the house offers plenty of parking. In the garage is a fix-installed ski boot dryer and space for bicycles or skis.
The architects Bernardo Bader and Rene Bechter are among the figureheads of a much-noticed, newer Vorarlberg architectural scene, whose buildings have received several international awards. The jointly planned house wenefrieda is ideal for the style of construction. The house was u. a. 2007 awarded the Vorarlberg Timber Construction Prize.
Culture: In addition to the physical activities, the cultural offer of the Bregenz Forest leaves nothing to be desired. Schwarzenberg is home to the Angelika Kauffmann Museum and Schubertiade concert series, Andelsbuch's Peter Zumthor's Werkraum and Hittisau's award-winning Women's Museum. To see top international art, the journey to the cultural metropolis of Bregenz takes less than an hour.
The wenefrieda is rented by Annette. The name of the holiday home refers to Annette's grandmother, who was a welcoming host for locals and guests. Your hospitality is a role model and an incentive for a holiday home, in which one likes to come back.
