Just what we needed for a little city break away. The place is cozy and comfortable. The pond and fishing were a bonus! The house is easy to find via google map! I definitely will recommend this place for my family members!
The Cherry family has big family reunion Labor day weekend. Blakes place made the weekend perfect for some of us from out of town. It wasnt to far from town, plenty of space, clean and quiet. Fishing was awesome. We will be back.
wasawesome and kids never cribordom
My family & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was clean, firewood stocked, fishing poles available for the pond & games for the kids to play. Zero issues, would definitely book again when coming to visit ☺️
Blakes Place is a great place to get away from it all. Pond is full of fish and fun to catch. We built a fire in the pit and roasted hotdogs. The only negative is the condition of the roads to the house. They are pretty rough, but our Jeep and SUV handled them ok. The host is very easy to communicate with.
Beautiful place inside and out. Great communication with owner. Only negative is not about the property but the roads off the main one really need work. We are definitely planning on going. Thank you so much
House was great and well stocked with all essentials. Stocked pond proved lots of fun and the ducks loved getting fed every evening. Comfortable, secluded, and a very pleasant experience.
This was a grandparents Labor Day Weekend Getaway. They had a blast grilling, fishing and hanging out by the little pond outside the property. It is a cozy remote place if you want to unwind from the busy city life and noise.
Our stay was awesome! It was just what we were looking for! A peaceful get away with ALL the luxuries of home! Beautiful scenery and Kendra was so easy to work with! Will definitely stay here again!
From the get go, the host was incredible. Kendra was incredibly accommodating and quick to respond to any questions that I had.
If you’re looking for a place to stay that’s out of the way from any city life, Blake’s Place is where it’s at.
Out there you’re surrounded by beautiful green grass, tall thick trees and beautiful horses. The inside is great! The house stayed cool and comfortable. All the rooms are a great size, the living room is nice and open and the kitchen is spacious.
I can confidently say that our 8 hour trip was totally worth it.
Thank y’all for everything and giving us a nice quiet place to get away to!!!

Hi! I'm Kendra. My husband Scott and I are Oklahoma natives. He is a contractor and I work for a billboard company. We have a daughter named Kylee. We've lived in Valliant for over 20 years. Our favorite thing to do is go to the lake, and we especially love Pine Creek Lake.
Why they chose this property
The house is located 5.7 miles north of Highway 70. The house is located 6.8 miles from International Paper. The house was fully renovated in 2021. This is the perfect place to get away from the crowds and relax while being surrounded by nature. The name "Blake's Place" comes from the original owners, Albert and Pauline Blake who also built the home. We purchased the home from the children of Mr. and Mrs. Blake while they were in nursing facilities, with the full intentions of preserving the property.
