Enjoy a comfortable and quintessential Tucson stay at this centrally located 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home.
After nearly 2 years as a long term rental, the Edison House is back! Decorated with the quirkiness and charm of the "Old Pueblo" in mind, it’s in a prime location to enjoy all the city has to offer. You'll be within walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, and Banner UMC hospital, and a short drive or bike ride to the University of Arizona, 4th Avenue, downtown, hiking trails, and more.
Please note that the home is located in an active neighborhood close to a busy intersection. Noise is typically not an issue, but because of the nature of the neighborhood, we provide earplugs for those who are particularly sound sensitive.
Every ounce of this home is an ode to Tucson — featuring work from local artists and touches that are specific to the charisma of the Southwest. The 1937-built Edison House was recently renovated and boasts numerous upgrades, while still maintaining its historic feel.
The expansive backyard is an ideal place to enjoy a beautiful desert morning or sunset with friends and family, and includes a desert-inspired mural by a local artist, covered patio, fire pit, and charcoal grill. The covered patio is set with outdoor seating and bistro lights — making it a comfortable spot to enjoy with loved ones.
The house can sleep 6, but is also great for couples and smaller groups. It is also pet friendly.
The primary bedroom has a queen bed and a private attached bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The 2nd bedroom has two twin beds and is located next to a shared bathroom, and the 3rd bedroom has a full bed that can easily fit two. The living room includes a futon that sleeps one.
The living and dining space has a dining table that seats six and a large flat-screen TV with Roku, Netflix, and retro gaming consoles. And the fully stocked kitchen includes every essential for cooking and baking.
By the door to the backyard you’ll find the laundry nook, and in the hallway closet we have extra towels and other amenities such as an iron and ironing board, laundry detergent, and more.
While we allow infants, young children, and pets to stay at the Edison House, please note that it is not child proof and you will need to keep an eye on your children and pets at all times. For young ones there are typical hazards within the home and outside. Do not leave pets in the backyard unaccompanied as we live in the desert and hawks, snakes, and other wildlife could pose a threat.
