What an incredible property! Unbelievable location. When the tide is out you can walk forever and when it is in, you can go for a swim. Can not wait to go back.
This property was perfect for our family of 5 (3 generations). Everyone had enough space to be comfortable and it was easy to feel at home. The house could easily fit more people than we had. The house came with everything we needed to make family meals each night and the property itself was perfect for playing on the lawn or multiple trips to the beach. It’s located in a quiet part of the island but surrounded by a variety of beautiful beaches along the coast, some just minutes away. We loved the wildflowers, watching the wildlife, and looking out to ships on the ocean through the telescope. The house was incredibly clean and it was lovely to have open windows with the ocean breeze. We highly recommend this location!
Visited herons landing with my mom, husband and 1 year old son and it was absolutely perfect! Clamming at low tide, playing in the sand, traveling to nearby beaches. We absolutely loved it! Thank you
My family and I had a magical time at this property! Exploring the ocean floor at low tide is a unique and beautiful experience. The house is truly a wonderful place to spend time with loved ones. If you don’t mind a drive, it’s a perfect place to be to explore PEI! We can’t wait to return.
This was our second time renting this property and we enjoyed our stay just as much as we did the first time. The house is located in a picturesque area where you are content to sit out on the porch and watch the view. The house is perfectly organized to accommodate 2 families and gives everyone space to be together or to find a quiet spot. The house is fully equipped with everything you would need to have an enjoyable stay on PEI. We cooked most nights at the house and found everything we needed to make wonderful dinners. The house is located near the town of Souris which is convenient for groceries. The house is also about 30 minutes away from Basin Head Beach which has become a favorite spot for us. Its truly a beautiful place and we hope to return again soon!
We spent a week at this gorgeous cottage. It was perfect for two families each with a couple kids. The area was amazing, and having the ocean at your doorstep, with the ocean floor to explore at low tide, was an experience we will never forget. We had an amazing time digging for clams and looking at sand dollars. The kitchen was great for cooking, with everything we needed. Spotless and stunning. No complaints at all. Able to go on day trips to Greenwich and Basinhead, and spend other days just enjoying the cottage and ocean floor. A trip we will never forget!

Great week at a great house!
We just finished a wonderful a week at Herons Landing, and it was everything we hoped for. A beautiful house set amid a seashore meadow, steps from a serene warm-water beach that extends a quarter mile out into the bay at low tide (perfect for first-time clammers!), in a great location (a quiet setting with lots to see and do in easy driving distance). The house was exactly what we expected from the pictures, and was perfect for two families each with two children.

relaxing, reviving and little slice of heaven
What a wonderful cottage and placed in such a great spot right on the ocean. The cottage had everything we needed to have a great week cooking, walking and soaking up the local area of little pond PEI. Its right near some great restaurants (Fireworks) and local activities boating and lobster boils and only 20 mins away from Covillebay Oyster Co. The cottage has more room than you would need and mornings just sitting on the deck by the water is a great way to start the day.

An absolutely beautiful Oceanside retreat.
Fabulous house with all the goodies. Everything you need less food and drink. Could spend all day out on the sand when the tide is out and kayaking when it is in. Good striking distance from all the east end of the island hot spots. Cant wait to go again.

Our wonderful 2 weeks at Heron's Landing
Took 2 weeks for an entire family vacation at this beautiful 4 bedroom cottage (actually more like a fabulous home). It was well stocked, quiet, the night sky and stars were the most beautiful I have ever seen, and it was totally enjoyed by all of us.
My grandchildren and their parents enjoyed the tides and would walk out at low tide to build sand castles and explore the various sea life. The waters were so clean and healthy that there were an abundance of clams, crabs etc
We loved it and would highly recommend Heron's Landing. M. Ober

Gorgeous cottage on the east coast of PEI
My family of 4 and another family of 4 fit very comfortably. Two masters make it ideal for 2 families. Our kids loved the room with bunk beds as well as the room with doubles. The kitchen / living space is open and makes it easy for everyone to gather. The kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance you will need. In addition to that space, the sunroom off the kitchen is an extra area to hang out. There's also a large laundry room with brand new washer and dryer. We LOVED the back deck area as well - so nice sitting on the rocking chairs at the end of the day and watching the beach while listening to music on the outdoor speakers. The beach is literally 50 or so steps down a bit of a grassy trail to amazing sand and sea life during low tide. Almost every night and a few mornings we went down there to find treasures and walk for what felt like miles. The house's location is very remote but is a short drive from the town of Souris, Montague, Georgetown, etc. Make sure you make the trip to Basin Head Beach (35-40 minute drive from cottage) and Sally's Beach (only a 5 minute drive from cottage). Two of my favourite beaches we visited. Don't hesitate to book this cottage - we had a wonderful time.

Family Get together
We had a great time reaquainting with other family on the island . We were able to keep our family of 8 and 2 children together without overcrowding . The aftermath of the tide going out kept the little ones amused in searching for treasures and the wind kept the adults busy with kite flying on days at the cottage . The spacious rooms ,kitchen and laundry facilities were a great asset .It offered a quiet time for all and the eclipse of the moon was sensational from our viewpoint with the telescope.

Beautiful Cottage!
We stayed at Heron's Landing for a week as a group of 8 people. The cottage was perfect, lots of space and beautifully appointed. Never felt on top of each other but could all be in the same areas quite comfortably when we wanted to. The location is great, can just hang out at the cottage and enjoy but it's also not far from any of the east end locations like Greenwich, Brudenell, Basin Head etc. Will definately stay here again if we are a big group!
