About this property

Lakeside 3 Bedroom w/loft at Delta Lodge - built in 1993

Delta Lodge has been in existence since the the late 1940s. We are the 5th owners. We have owned Delta Lodge since 1990. To find reviews go to Trip Advisor - Delta Lodge is under "specialty properties. Facebook and Google are also good places to find Delta Lodge reviews.

Delta Lodge is pet-friendly to the max - we have newfoundland-mix dogs and many of our guests bring dogs (dog charge). They have just as much fun as everyone else on vacation.

A row boat is included on Lake Everett. Shared access to 9 kayaks and a canoe. We provide firewood for the campfire pit - no extra charge. On a 13-cabin property in the heart of Chequamegon (Shah-wa-me-gone) National Forest.

Cabin #11 is a lakeside 3-bedroom with loft at Delta Lodge (12 cabin property).
Three bedrooms and a loft - because the loft functions as a fourth bedroom, the cabin is rated for up to 8 persons. There is one queen and 4 twins in 3 bedrooms on the main level; 2 twins in the open loft. There are 1.5 bathrooms and a washer/dryer. All the cabins have a kitchen, living room and screened porch. There is a deck for grilling and a campfire pit - we provide the fire wood.

A row boat is included with the cabin rental for your exclusive use. Small hp motors are available for rent (no-wake lake). There are 9 kayaks and a canoe which guests share. There is a 70' swimming pier and floating raft, which brings everyone back to the simpler things in life.

Wifi is available in the game room of the main lodge and near the lodge office. Although we don't guarantee wifi at the cabin, many guests receive the gameroom wifi at #11 (deck and/or inside the cabin).

I have owned and operated Delta Lodge since 1990, with my former spouse, Andy. Andy is retired but available in emergencies. Several (very important) employees help me run the 12 cabin resort throughout the year. Seasonal employees also help operate the lodge.

I am interested in the arts - have artist friends. My art is writing, which I would like to more actively pursue.

Dogs are another passion. "All dogs are therapy dogs." is a favorite saying, and I believe this to be more or less true. Delta Lodge is very dog friendly. There is a one-time charge, per visit for up to 2 dogs in one cabin.

Living on premise, in the main lodge, allows me to be available to guests if there is a problem. Also available if you need some recommendations for day activities in the area.

Why they chose this property

Cabin #11 was built in 1993, during our ownership, and has been updated several times since then. It is quite popular with groups of 6-8 people, as it is lakeside and just the right size for a small group. Many people appreciate the brighter interior of this relatively new cabin - washer/dryer, half-bath in the loft as well as full bath on the main floor, deck/screened porch.

Delta Lodge is centrally located in the county - making it a great place from which to launch your day trips - about 40-50 minutes to Lake Superior. 25 minutes to the Brule River. On the ATV trail system. In the Chequamegon National Forest for short or long hikes.

Many people scratch the surface and keep coming back because they enjoy the quietness of the resort and the beautiful no-wake (no motor noise) of Lake Everett. Loons and hoot owls can be heard at night - eagles fly over during the day.

The kayaks, canoe and firewood are free for guests to share.
A rowboat comes with the cabin rental for your exclusive use on Everett Lake.

What makes this property unique

Staying at Delta Lodge is like staying at your own cabin. You may interact as little or as much as you like with other guests and Marilyn, the owner (I live on premise).

The kayaks, canoe and firewood are free for guests to share.
A rowboat comes with the cabin rental for your exclusive use on Everett Lake.

Guests arrive with stress on their faces and depart with a smile and wave - it is a peaceful vacation, allowing you to put your life into perspective while you are kayaking on Lake Everett or touring the area. Taking a break from the stress of faster-paced urban life is important for those of us who feel a deep connection to the natural world.
Delta Lodge and the Township of Delta is an amazing place to reconnect with nature.
