This 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom guest suite (1,225 sq. ft.) has a kitchenette with washer and dryer, driveway parking, and a patio with picnic table. Guests can have a lovely picnic in the patio and enjoy the views. The home is walking distance to Hidden Mesa Open Space, Cherry Creek Trail (goes to downtown Denver), and neighborhood parks and trails for hiking, running, biking, snowshoeing or horseback riding.

Guest suite is the walkout basement of a residence with 3-car garage. Noise may carry. Home is on a hill. There are about 12 steps leading from driveway to door.

Guests and their visitors can park their cars on part of the driveway or front street of the home. Guests can access patio and backyard.

Genuinely amazing

This place was perfect for a solo traveler. Everything was clean when I arrived, hosts were extremely good with communication, check in process was basically idiot proof. I really don’t have a single negative thing to say about my stay here

Appearance

The dishwasher was full when I arrived. The dishes were clean, but I still had to put them away. There was hair in the bathroom in the tub and on the sink and also dried toothpaste in the sink.

A gem in Castle Rock

We completely enjoyed our stay here. Our hosts were communicative and provided comprehensive instructions for the property and guides for the area. We loved their recommendation for the B&B cafe! The space was immaculate and well stocked. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. I would absolutely recommend and stay again!

Lovely area, lovely home

My husband and I were in town for a week for our granddaughters high school graduation, so we wanted to stay somewhere fairly close to their home in Castle Rock. This home fit the bill. There was only one thing that gave us a little trouble at the age of 70 and 72…..the steps used going in and out of the basement area. They were a bit much for us, but still we got them done. Great stay!

Great Short Stay

The basement apartment was roomier than pictures make it appear. Washer and dryer were really nice to have access to. Thanks for the washing machine pods! Kitchen was small, but had lots of amenities. Quiet neighborhood. Good off-street parking near gate. Location made it easy to access different routes to Parker, where we had scheduled events. Hosts were very responsive to messages left on the VRBO site, prior to our visit. Would consider staying here again on our next trip.

Spacious and comfortable basement apartment

This is a basement apartment, and occasional sounds may be heard from occupants upstairs. Access to the apartment is through a side gate and down a series of stairs, making it unsuited for guests with accessibility concerns. The sliding door entrance is under a deck, which offers shielding from weather.I arrived after dark and struggled some with the lock box combination. Once inside, it took me bit to locate the switch for overhead lights. I was surprised by the size of the apartment, which can easily accommodate four adults. Bypass shutters on the sliding door ensure privacy for those sleeping in the common area and keep the room dark enough for late risers.The apartment was very clean (shoes off at the door, please) and tastefully furnished. I found the bed quite comfortable. On a down note, I've seen commercial kitchens with more ambiance than offered by the galley, but it's well stocked and has a comprehensive array of appliances including washer and dryer.

Cute Kitchen! Very Clean

Spent a quick weekend and was very pleased with the cleanliness and the amenities in the basement we stayed in. Kitchen is fully equipped and the shower was a decent size. We thought this was a two bedroom from the pictures, but turned out to be one bedroom. Wish we could have stayed longer to utilize the running paths in the neighborhood.

Great space

Wonderful basement with its own entrance and lots of space. Noise does travel from main house but as expected. Careful if it’s snowing/icy out, the walkway can get nasty. We had a very cozy stay and the property manager was very helpful.

EXCELLENT!!!

This was a GREAT place to stay! It was clean, very comfortable, quiet and private, the kitchen was very well stocked and the host has thought of every detail with regard to check-in/out. I highly recommend this rental!
