The Sands of Eden Vilano Beach

Beautiful and spacious, this home has everything you need to enjoy fun in the sun. With four bedrooms, two of which are ensuite, this home can accommodate the largest of families. Please remember that this home can only accommodate parking for 3-4 vehicles depending on size. No street parking or overflow parking in the community. This rule is strictly enforced by the HOA with no exceptions. This home features a full kitchen, an outdoor grill, smart TVs, WiFi, and even includes amenities such as beach towels and beach chairs! This gorgeous home is situated just minutes from downtown St. Augustine which is recognized as the oldest continuously inhabited city in the country. Downtown, you'll find amazing sights such as the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse, the Oldest Store, the Oldest House, and an entire street blocked off for pedestrians only with lots of shopping and delicious restaurants. Sightseeing trains take you from place to place with stops along the way enabling you to hop off and hop back on again. Cross over the Bridge of Lions and you'll find the Alligator Farm featuring not just alligators and crocodiles but also many different birds, reptiles, and, for those adventurous souls, there's a zip line! Or climb the 100+ steps of the St. Augustine Lighthouse and see the area from a whole new perspective. Come find your very own home away from home at The Sands of Eden!
You must be at least 25 years of age in order to make a reservation. The person who makes the reservation must occupy the residence for the duration of the reservation.

two small/medium dogs allowed. Nonrefundable pet fee of $150 per dog.

The Sands of Eden Vilano Beach

The is spacious house and very close to the beach. Based on previous reviews and house listing details, I was expecting first class place. However, the housekeeping and maintenance is poor and the minimum care is done to the house. The house did not have a clean feel, floors dusty, the walls are in need of painting, the towels are stained, just to mention a few things. For me cleanness is a top priority. The house had most of what you would need as listed. One suggestion will be to provide coffee as many rentals do. If multiple cars are coming (as the house hosts multiple people), you cannot park in the street. It would had been nice that there were parking suggestions in the description or by the management company. We parked the extra car in a near beach parking.

Nice property and location

I recently had the pleasure of renting this beach property for a delightful 4-day trip with some close friends. The rental's location was absolutely fantastic, just a quick stroll away from the beach, allowing us to easily soak up the sun and surf. Our group thoroughly enjoyed spending quality time together on the third floor, which boasts a well-equipped kitchen and a fantastic entertainment area.Our overall stay was enjoyable, yet there were a few aspects of the property that left us slightly disappointed. Upon our check-in, we encountered a minor hiccup as a member of the property maintenance team promptly knocked on our door. They informed us about a water leak issue in the garage area that required attention. After a brief exchange, they efficiently resolved the matter while we were out enjoying the sandy shores. Unfortunately, we also encountered a few other maintenance-related challenges during our stay. The main entrance door handle was already showing signs of wear and tear upon our arrival, eventually leading to a complete breakdown that necessitated a maintenance call. In the culinary realm, the kitchen's exhaust fan presented an issue as it failed to operate. This resulted in steam accumulating on the hood during our cooking sessions, leading to occasional drips onto our dishes. Additionally, the shower drain on the second floor proved to be a bit sluggish, causing inconveniences due to slow drainage. Despite these minor setbacks, overall experience was memorable.

Teachers Last Summer Vacay

We had our group of 12 and this house was absolutely perfect!! The beach access was so close that getting to the beach was a breeze! The kitchen was large enough for 4 girls to cook appetizers easily! The master suite was very comfy and we enjoyed the large bathroom! The extra space in the master allowed us to conformably get ready with a group of 12 women with ease! Definitely recommend this house for a large group or even a large family!

Super beach location

This property was clean with large rooms to accommodate our family. With had coded access to a sweet beach area that was never crowded. Check out was also easy and took very little time.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay at your home and it was my first time to Villano beach! Great beach for relaxing and quiet space! We were the only ones in the beach for the first week of summer! New vacation spot!

Family Beach Holiday

After a disappointing experience with another service, we tried Vrbo and were extremely pleased with this beach property. We had a large family gathering for the holidays and everyone from 6 months to 83 years old had a great time. The location was handy to the beach and all of the nearby points of interest in St. Augustine. The house itself was extremely comfortable and easily accommodated our group of 16. The management copy was friendly and answered questions in a timely manner. We would definitely stay here again.

House was perfect size and location was great. Beautiful house.

Seemed no one had rented it in a while as there was some dust. Not all pans worked with the cooktop. Recommend putting those pans right below and have instructions printed out somewhere. Had a great time. Quiet neighborhood. Bathroom s were spacious and clean.

Heartbroken 💔

I usually come to St. Augustine every year to recharge after a stressful time at my job. This time I decided to have my family join me. We had been waiting patiently for some family get away time. Arrived at the address of this beautiful home to be greeted unexpectedly by maintance personnel there to fix broken handle in the bathrooms. The previous renters trash was still there. The house didn’t have a Manuel even though I was told there was one there. The house definitely wasn’t ready for another renter. There was no door stop behind the garage door so the door continued hitting the wall , there were a few other repairs that had to be documented upon arrival. There were several complaints from the HOA about parking and making untrue accusations about us breaking the gate to the pier when there was nothing to prove their accusations. My family vacation turned out to answering emails back and forth. There was no communication from the property group of issues with the HOA , the way that I found out was from the residents in the neighborhood. I was told that we would not be responsible for anything in the house after communicating everything that was discovered but still haven’t received my refund for damage deposit. It was a heartbreaking experience for us. Still waiting on a response back from the property management concerning the follow up with the HOA.
