About this property

Double MM Ranch · 2 Bedrooms Plus a Spacious Sleeping Loft (Sleeps 8)

You have found your peaceful, majestic paradise! This new, custom built home nestled in a hidden valley transports you to a place of relaxation and beauty unlike many places on earth. The location is ideal for someone wanting to experience a real Montana getaway with wildlife, views and nature activities; yet conveniently located to lively and quaint amenities like hot springs, world class restaurants, live music, shopping and more.

THE HOME: Seated on 25 acres with unobstructed views of Paradise Valley and the Yellowstone River to the east. To your west are towering peaks of the Absaroka Mountains. Picture clean, luxurious, mountain modern oasis.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: A total of 8 people can comfortably sleep in the home with 7 beds. The main level has a bedroom with a single queen bed. Another bedroom on the main level has a bedroom with 2 full size beds. These are bunk style, but the bunk is very spacious and has enough height for even an adult. There is a large full bathroom with tub/shower combo between these two rooms on the main level.

Just upstairs into a large loft area looking over the living room there are 2 twin beds (these can be easily converted into a king bed with a very nice conversion kit).
There is also a daybed type bed with a twin size mattress and a twin bed trundle.

On the other end of the house is a very large master bath with soaker tub, walk in shower and double vanities. The master bedroom is locked for owner use only. And they are never there when we have guests. All linens, towels and organic Public Goods personal care amenities are provided for your stay.

LIVING AND SHARED SPACES: The living area has a real wood fireplace, towering windows framing Emigrant Peak, 2 couches & two oversized chairs. A large flat screen smart TV is above the mantle.

The kitchen is large, fully stocked with commercial grade stainless steel appliances, small appliances like blender, crockpot, toaster, coffee maker, etc. We provide dish detergent, soaps, paper towels, and coffee filters for your stay.

Just off the living area is a large covered patio with seating, a picnic table and a propane BBQ grill (propane included).

THE AREA: The home is at the end of a gravel (but well maintained road) overlooking the valley. It sits on 25 acres next to a large ranch and there are a few homes that you pass on the way to the house.

Paradise Valley or as some say, 'The Valley’ – Paradise Valley runs north and south from Livingston to Gardiner along the Yellowstone River. On either side are mountain ranges running north and south. There are a number of local places for food, gasoline, and groceries within a 10-to-30-minute drive. Paradise Valley is exquisite, pristine and filled with hidden trails, river access sites, hot springs, scenic drives and more.

Livingston, MT “In Town” (40 minutes or 31 miles, north) – The town of Livingston is just north of the house about 31 miles. In Livingston, you will find full-service grocery stores, a hospital, movie theater, pharmacy, shops and art galleries and great restaurants - just about anything you need or want is a beautiful and short drive away.

Gardiner, MT (26 miles, south + Yellowstone National Park) – This is the only gateway to YNP open year-round. The North Entrance of the YNP (Gardiner) and the road to Silver Gate / Cooke City, MT is plowed year-round.

The house's master bedroom is locked for guests. It is not advertised in the listing as part of the 3 available rooms.
Garbage service is not available at this location, there are several places nearby to dispose of your bagged garbage, a map will be provided.

You will want a reliable 4wd vehicle year round. The house is off a main highway and then a gravel road, but it is very well maintained. We ask you drive 10mph on the gravel. Neighbors will get frustrated if you speed through and it is very hard on the road.
You will want to drive to public hiking access points, the river and to the various smaller communities around.

Beautiful property with gorgeous views and lots of space inside. My family had a great time at Yellowstone and the Hot Springs nearby, and the kids loved the loft!

Great stay

Super clean, excellent location. We did have some issues with the heating system which didn’t get resolved, but they were pretty responsive. Overall, this was a great place to stay.

Beautiful and peaceful Montana stay

This was our first visit to Montana as a family. Our parents lived for a time in Missoula when they immigrated to the U.S. and my husband was born in Hamilton. This year, we came back to see where he was born and where his parents lived. We started in Bozeman and then hit Yellowstone where we stayed at this property for two nights. We feel so spoiled as the home was beautiful and comfortable. It was incredibly peaceful and really put us in a Montana state of mind. We didn't want to leave.

Double M Ranch

The property was lovely. Very clean, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The views of the surrounding mountains were stunning. The location was a bit remote so if you are looking for peace and quiet - it’s a wonderful spot. The only drawback for our group with younger children is there wasn’t much for them to do at the house itself. I would recommend the house for a family with older children ir adults only.

Beautiful house with exceptional views

The house is immaculately clean with beautiful panoramic views. The layout is great and the kitchen has anything and everything you need. My only complaint is that the master bedroom is a queen bed. For the rate we paid a night I would think it would have a king. I understand the owner not wanting guests to use their bedroom, but at least put a king in the leftover bedroom. Not handing a master suite in a house like this just didn’t feel right.

Brand New Home

We were one of the first few to stay in this new home. So the house is super clean and minimal (as in not cluttered), which was nice. The location is ten minutes from Sage Lodge and other good places to eat. Management was great at addressing our problems and resolved them quickly and easily. I would use them for my own property. Just realize the master bedroom is locked, so it’s not entire house access. But excellent, comfortable, new, clean home.
