There's no better way to experience Pensacola than staying at this downtown historic home. Baylen House is a beautifully restored three-bedroom/two-bath 1928 home in Pensacola's Historic North Hill. This two-story duplex's 1800 sq ft first floor is fully furnished with a full kitchen, sunroom, living room, dining room, and laundry. Baylen House is located within easy walking distance of the downtown entertainment district, and a short drive to local beaches (8.8miles), Naval Air Station, and attractions.
We provide you with an initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, trash bags, napkins, spices, dishwashing liquid, laundry soap, coffee and coffee filters, a hairdryer, and beach towels. A beach umbrella and chairs are available upon request. We have an outside area with a table and chairs and grill upon request.
Things to note:
*With extreme heat happening, places are having a/c units freezing up because they are putting the temp too low... never move temp down more than 2 degrees at a time. Air conditioners can not keep up when placed 20 degrees lower than outside temp.
“To avoid the A/C system from freezing up and disrupting your stay, please keep doors to the outside closed. This also prevents undesired critters and bugs from joining you in your stay. Thank you.”
*Security cameras are located on the exterior of the house at the entrances, and record video and audio. There are no interior cameras.*
* Our home is professionally cleaned after each stay and all linens are washed between guests - including quilts, blankets, mattress pads and pillow protectors.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Florida is a humid, wet natural environment with lots of nature....many bugs are important to our gardens and ecosystem - we use bug/pest control....but we all do different things to keep praying mantis and other important pollinators in the garden however, rain forces them to seek shelter.
We DO NOT offer refunds for a bug, mosquito, lizard or spider inside. We've not had this occur but just incase. Best advice is keep doors and windows closed.
Thanks for understanding and knowing bugs are an important part of growing food and having an ecosystem that works to stay balanced.
We love the beach and natural environment and hope you will too during your stay in Pensacola…..Enjoy.
