We enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing that needs to be addressed is the heat should have been turned on before we arrived. It took forever to heat up. Plus on the very cold days, with the heat turned wide open, it was still cold in the cabin. Other than that, it was very nice and cozy!!
We enjoyed our stay the outside area was the best.. we thought it was a 2/bed / 2 bath but was 1 of each bathroom was really small lol . It was a nice getaway in mountains we enjoyed thanks
I’ve stayed here a couple of times before. It’s small, but the jacuzzi is wonderful and it doesn’t get anymore peaceful than sitting by the creek listening to the calming waters.
The place is close to Cataloochee, so close to the elks and bears which is a real plus and Jon is a great communicator. Thanks.
Very nice cabin in Maggie Valley. Everything you need is there, very clean. Bring your clothes, food and some extra firewood. Nice stream out the back with a firepit. Just enough seclusion for a village cabin. Loads of great places to eat close by if you don’t want to cook in the full kitchen. Plenty of walking and Jeep trails in the area.
Overall it was good. You could tell it wasn’t cleaned well. There was old food on left in the fridge, water bottle lids in the floor and looked like something spilled on the end table and dried. So that left doubts about the cleanliness overall. The bed left my back in knots.
Everything went great, except the water had a funny taste when making coffee. Had a great stay, thanks.

Cabin
We came on this trip for anniversary weekend and have never stayed in a cabin before so decided to give it a try. We had no plans to cook in the cabin just have a base camp. When we got there my husband tried to call to ask questions about the heat left message and no return call. Was new system for us but we did finally figure out the heat without a call back. Enjoyed the cabin itself especially the back porch near the stream.
Bed was very comfortable sleep. Kitchen very small but we didn’t have to cook so no issue for us.
The tub was huge inside bedroom but spa tub functions In the room didn’t work and bathroom very small even for average size adults like us. Would have been better to just have larger bathroom without the huge spa tub inside that room
Overall is a 3 star.
We had a great time staying here. Excellent location. Other cabins nearby, but still felt very private. Very clean with comfortable bed. Contact person was incredibly helpful and friendly. I will definitely book here the next time I travel to Maggie Valley.
Couldn’t have asked for a better get away, truly! The host was very helpful and the cabin is cozy with a tranquil view, I loved having breakfast on the back porch listening to the creek. And the bed was incredibly comfortable too, big fan. Likely to return next time we visit the area!
This place was very cute. A little small in the kitchen and bathroom but to be expected. The heat in the bathroom exhaust fan was nice to have for the cold mornings. We didnt use the tub but it looked very clean. The bed was suprisingly very comfortable. I wouldnt recommend for larger people. Overall it was a cozy place and great location. Would 100% rebook this place in the future.
