The Silliman House - A spectacular property that has just been entirely renovated, featuring vintage wood and beams from over 100 yrs ago. Style, comfort, technology, - nothing was overlooked when renovating this home. You will have more than enough space to relax, inside and out. The large living and dining room with a handmade farmhouse table, comfy couch, love seat and recliners, 65' ROKU TV, whole house Bluetooth speaker system, and tasteful décor will make it hard for you to leave. The coffee station in the kitchen will be perfect to get your morning started - enjoy a cup of coffee on the front or back porch - neither will disappoint.

Bedrooms are spacious and well-appointed, perfect for whatever combination of guests you will be bringing along. Your hosts have taken extreme care in the renovation and decoration process. From the moment you walk, you will understand what makes The Silliman House such a unique gem!

The rear deck is an oasis all on its own, with comfy outdoor furniture, a gas firepit for chilly nights and NEW in the fall of '23....a 55" SmartTV outside on the rear deck to catch and game while enjoying the fresh Upstate New York air!

Approximately 15 minutes to Cooperstown or Oneonta, The Silliman House is in a prime location for whatever it is that brings you to this great area. Colleges, baseball, breweries, art, theater - the Cooperstown area has so much to offer. The Silliman House was new to the rental market in 2022 and already has hosted many very happy guests!

Silliman Home Away from Home

Superior customer service. Very helpful and quick response with answering questions. The house is beautiful. Really enjoyed the Christmas decor through out the home. Arcade was great for game night. 10/10

The Sillman Experience

When we arrived, power was out due to heavy snow on powerlines. The hosts Kelly and Phill Scrambled to Get the house on a generator, which was absolutely sufficient enough to make us comfortable. Everything in the house worked beautifully as it should and we enjoyed our stay to the fullest with great communication from the house.

Excellent place for a great weekend!

Light switches and remotes all labeled to know what controlled what. Wireless charging stands on all of the nightstands. And a lovely welcome basket including a custom travel coffee mug! Would highly recommend to anyone going to Cooperstown ASV or Dreams Park!

Wonderful Stay in a Beautiful Home!

We had the pleasure of spending a wonderful week at the Silliman House in July 2024. The home is beautiful and looks just like the pictures. The hosts are amazing and very responsive to any questions or concerns. The amenities for kids are amazing, from the game room in the basement to plenty of games in the bunk room. They really thought of everything in the home, even providing to-go coffee cups and skewers to roast marshmallows over the fire pit! The home is very centrally located, being a quick 15 minute drive to Dreams Park and a 10 minute drive to Oneonta. We highly recommend this home to future visitors to the area!

Perfect Cooperstown Baseball Family Home

We had an amazing experience staying here. Perfect place to come back from ASV (short drive) and recharge in between games and unwind after games. Everything is super clean, organized, stocked and cozy and inviting. The hosts are super on top of everything and welcoming. Beautiful deck and backyard to BBQ and 5 minute walk to Goodyear Lake siblings to swim or fish. There’s also a fun game room too for kids and Dads to hangout. 5 minutes away from post office, grocery stores & gas stations. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful place with us!

Wonderful Stay!

Beautiful home and property for our stay while our son played at Cooperstown. Very clean and has everything you will need for your visit. My family enjoyed the game room downstairs and watching deer from the deck. Would highly recommend for families coming to the Cooperstown area!

Perfect Gem!

Home owners Phil and Kelly were awesome and very welcoming. House was super clean with a well stocked kitchen. Location was great for visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame. Even though it rained all weekend, the home was well stocked with fun board games and the game room downstairs provided great family time! Thank you Phil and Kelly!

Perfect for a Group

We are a group of 6 woman that take an annual girls trip. This year we drove to the Silliman House and it was perfect for our needs. Perfect number of beds and plenty of space for us to sit around the table to eat/play games. The game room downstairs and wireless charging options through the house were great bonuses. Not to mention the owners met us at the home for a quick tour and they were nothing but nice and charming. Great proximity to local wineries and restaurants too. Would definitely stay here again if we ever find ourselves out that way again!

The Silliman House was perfect! The hosts thought of every detail to make our stay wonderful. The house is very spacious and nicely decorated. Top notch stay with amazing amenities and super clean.

The house was so clean and nice with every amenity you could think of. Even the little details were not overlooked. Perfect for convenience and ease. The hosts were very thorough and nice from beginning to end. Very accommodating if we had any questions or needs. I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again. Great location, only 15 min from Cooperstown Dreams Park.

Amazing Stay!

Hands down this was one of the best homes I have stayed in! Kelly and Philip were amazing hosts! We were greeted with a "goodie basket" and they were so incredibly kind. They checked in with us to make sure our stay was going well and they even ran over ketchup because we forgot to buy it at the store! The house was beautiful! So clean and organized. We loved the coffee bar! They even had "to-go cups" for those of us who were running off to baseball games! The basement was simply perfect for our kids! They all loved the arcade games! The family room was my favorite place to hang! Overall, absolutely beautiful home and it was only 15 min from Dreams Park. My friend who stayed with us is planning to stay Summer of '25 when her other son comes to play! Thank you Kelly and Philip for such a wonderful stay!

Beautiful serene upstate NY home

My family and I stayed at Silliman House while our boys were competing at Cooperstown Dreams Park. The house was perfectly appointed with all you need to relax for the little time you are off the fields! It was immaculately clean, better than I could've wished for. It was stocked with coffee, paper towel and other products you'd need. The beds were comfy, and the hosts were superb in communication and recommendations. They live next door and were very kind to every need (we had none - the house was amazing). The house is a short 15 min drive to the fields, and its a lovely drive to take. We wish we could experience Cooperstown again - and would love to stay here again!

Perfect!

We just stayed at the Silliman house for a week while our son played at All-star village. The house is absolutely perfect- they ah e thought of everything you could need for your trip, and are helpful and responsive to their guests during their stay. The game room was perfect for younger siblings, beds were comfortable, and the house was quiet and cozy. We were about 15 minutes from all-star, making it easy for us to get to games. We plan to stay again when our younger son goes to Cooperstown on a few years!

Amazing Home away from Home

The Silliman House was amazing from beginning to end. The comfort and amenities offered fulfilled all our needs and then some. Philip and Kelley were amazing hosts. They checked in on us regularly and were available any time of day to address any concerns and also offered insider suggestion for day activities and food options. Perfect Cooperstown Stay!

The Silliman House was perfect! Phil and Kelly were great hosts and their home was more than accommodating. The spacious living room allowed all 7 of us to relax comfortably. The cleanliness and modern upgrades made the stay even better. There was no need for us to pull out our numerous phone chargers as they provided those in just about every room. The property is beautiful, peaceful and well maintained. We even had deer visit us while outside enjoying the fire and eating s’mores. Bonus was the laundry room in the basement and play room that the kids enjoyed playing foosball, air hockey and arcade games. The area allows for a beautiful drive to Cooperstown Dreams Park. We were very happy with stay and could not have thanked Phil and Kelly more for their quick response time and checking in to make sure our stay was pleasant.

A stay we won't soon forget!

Absolutely first class property and hosts. My family (wife, 15 year old daughter and in-laws) were in town for a tournament at Dreams Park for our son. To say this was the best VRBO property we've ever stayed at wouldn't be doing it justice. Phil and Kelly have thought of everything when it comes to making your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. From the integrated sound system allowing you to fill the property with your favorite tunes to the arcade like experience on the lower level keeping the kids (and adults) entertained, the house provides everything you would ever want or need for your stay. Place is immaculate and if we ever travel back to Cooperstown, the Silliman house is where we'll be staying! Thank you, Phil and Kelly. You two are the best!
