I am from the area originally, being in the military, going home to visit we’re always stuck with family but having something like this is nice since there are no hotels in the area. The only thing I’d recommend is a map to find things like the dumpster- and maybe to find the cabins, anyone not from the area would have difficulty. It’s quiet and I got a few pictures of wildlife up by the cabins which was really cool. Wi-Fi/service is really spotty (but that’s in Owensville as a whole).
Looking forward to my next trip “home”.
Stayed here 3 nights (3/24-3/27/23) while attending a family wedding at the Red Oak Valley venue. Would be fine housing even if not taking in an event there. Clean, new, quiet, comfy, beautiful setting and lots of deer, turkeys, birds, and squirrels. No complaints at all. Adding a lamp in bedroom to provide an option other than the bright overhead would be a nice add, as would some blinds or curtains in living area. We didn’t cook so only having a fridge and microwave was fine. With a stove or oven it would be fully functional. Minutes from Owensville and numerous wineries within 20-45 minutes. Highly recommend- and the wedding venue is as well run.
