New to the Shipyard Hilton Head rental market, 406 Golfmaster boasts a spacious open floor plan, new furniture and a screened in porch! Guests staying in this property will have access to free pickleball, tennis and a community pool just steps from your front door!

As you walk through the front door, you're greeted by lots of natural light, luxury tile flooring and brand new furniture throughout. The living area features a sleeper sofa, two upholstered chairs and a flat screen TV. The dining area seats 4 comfortably with additional seating for 4 at the kitchen bar. Just off the dining area, you'll find the screened in porch.

The large, renovated kitchen features stainless appliances, granite counters, a tile backsplash and a Keurig coffee maker. Through the kitchen you'll find additional seating for 2 at the breakfast table. A powder room can be found on this level as well.

Up the stairs you'll find all 3 bedrooms, complete with vinyl planking, flat screen TVs and private bathrooms.

The king bedroom features access to a private balcony overlooking the greenery of the Golfmaster community. The private ensuite has both a large soaking tub and a walk-in shower, as well as dual vanities.

The queen and twin bedrooms share access to a second balcony over looking the parking area. Both bathrooms have a tub/shower combination.

Please indicate how many car passes you will need. Car passes are $35 plus tax for the stay. 2 Car Passes Max. The owner of 406 Golfmaster does not provide access to the mailbox.


Guests of Golfmaster are offered the best of outdoor amenities, including a complex pool, tennis courts and pickleball courts. Leisure trails that span the Shipyard community will lead you down to the Shipyard Beach Club and the Shipyard beach access.

Check-in instructions will be sent via email at least 10 days prior to check-in once the Rental Agreement is signed. If your stay is within 9 days, or lesser, from the time of booking, the instructions will be sent via email as soon as the Rental Agreement is signed.

Gloucester Rd 406

We arrived at the property to find mold/mildew in the master bathroom on ceilings, walls and mirrors. The AC registers were dusty and contained mold spores. The 2nd floor ceiling light was full of water. The washing machine also starting leaking water onto the floor and our laundry was in there stuck in water. We immediately contacted the property manager and decided to depart the next morning due to health concerns. After they inspected the property Sunset Rentals did refund our money for the stay; however we recommend this property be thoroughly cleaned and updated before the next tenant comes in.

Group Stay

The over all stay was about a 2.5/5 stars. There is a musky/ mildewy smell from the AC unit. I notified the property management and they stated that the unit/ thermostat needed to be turned to “fan” however the smell was never eliminated throughout the stay. We visited the pool and were a minority on the property and were not welcomed upon entry in fact, as we walked, a pool goer stated “Oh lord, here come those kind of people”. Gathered there belongings and immediately left. I was baffled. There was quite a large wasps nest on the patio with a lot of wasp activity. Notified property management, they stated they would come remove it. The nest was never removed. We ended up eradicating the live wasps in the nest ourselves with wasp spray. The last night of the stay, one of my house mates found a roach in her bed. The property is dated but nicely renovated I just wish that these things didn’t occur as the trip was nice be lodging accommodations weren’t the best.

Perfect spring break getaway

Our family (parents, three younger teens) stayed here for spring break. It was exactly as described and shown. The house was perfect for us. Three bedrooms and one with twin beds. We biked just about everywhere once we got there. We were right next to pickle ball court and basketball also which was great for the kids. We would stay again!

Spring Vacation

The condo was very spacious and clean. Plenty of room for a family of 5. We always enjoy staying in the Shipyard community. We spent plenty of time at the pool and enjoyed the close proximity to beach access. I would have enjoyed a few more wash cloths and towels but we will definitely stay here again.

Quiet location with wonderful water feature.

This property had a lot of room. The 3 bedrooms are upstairs and very roomy with each having a bathroom. The master has a great tub for soaking. This is a quiet neighborhood in Shipyard Plantation.

Great stay with modern amenities

Overall, we enjoyed our stay! The space was updated and modern. I loved having stainless steel appliances and so much space to spread out! There are a few things that could be better- upgrading towels, a few more steps with cleaning bathroom floors. But nothing that would prevent you from having a relaxing stay.
