Lots of places to walk to at any time of the day/night. Three blocks away from beautiful Fellsway Forest reservoir where you'll find trails for hiking and many natural water reservoirs. Rent a kayak to navigate on historical Mystic River. Lots of international restaurants are all within walking distance. Free parking on street right in front of the house. Only 15 (6 miles) min drive to downtown Boston. Ten-minute drive (3 miles) from Harvard Sq Cambridge and 5 min (1 mile) from Tufts University. A unique opportunity to enjoy Boston, Cambridge, and Somerville, while relaxing in a beautiful and safe family-friendly neighborhood with lots of nature around. Nice place, great location

Overall, the place was great. Had easy access in and out, rental car friendly with street parking and a quiet neighborhood. It was great for the two of us to explore the Boston area, recommended!

Perfect Location for Salem and Boston

We had a wonderful time in Boston and this little studio apartment was the perfect launching pad for all our adventures. The neighborhood is beautiful and safe, and it was just a short walk to town for coffee or dinner (there are many restaurants to choose from). We spent a day in Salem (a 35 min uber ride away) and a day exploring Boston's North End, and squeezed in a short hike in the nearby forest in Medford. Directions and all communication from the owners was very timely and clear. We would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for a lovely stay. If you have a chance to walk around there is a spot “for pizza”. The manger Aaron was great. Recommended a pepperoni and hot honey and it was wonderful

City and Suburb Experience

Excellent place and location to experience the Boston area from the city and suburbs. The place is cozy and is set up with the traveler in mind. Public transportation and good local restaurants and stores are a short walk away. The Middlesex Fells Reservation is a beautiful area to explore and the perfect balance to the Boston city life. We loved our stay!

The location and accommodations are great! Also, the owner surprised me with a sizable discount due to the water heater dying for the entire house. It was my first instance of using VRBO and will definitely consider it in the future.

Our second visit!

This is the second visit to this wonderful studio apartment on a quiet street in Medford. The first time we moved our child into Tufts. This most recent visit was for Parents & Family Weekend. On both occasions the space was ready for our visit. It was clean and cozy - everything we needed for a great visit. The location is close to High Street, so plenty of places to eat nearby. Tufts is a short drive away as well. Maria is so responsive. Any questions we had were answered right away! The check-in/check-out process couldn't be easier. This will be our go-to location for when we visit Medford. Thanks for a great visit, Maria! We'll be back.

Great Neighborhood

The studio unit was very nice and in a quiet & cute area of Medford. The unit was very clean, quiet & had a private entrance and plenty of street parking that didn’t require a permit. The host Maria was very fast answering questions we had regarding parking on Fridays due to street cleaning day which Was no issue because there is a place to park on the driveway lawn.the unit was walking distance to Many restaurants. we particularly loved “for pizza” the pepperoni honey Drizzle pizza (in fact ate there 2 nights) my daughter who is dairy free said it was still delicious without the cheese!!!!! Definitely will be book again.thank u!!!

This apartment is small yet has everything you need. Maria is very responsive & pleasant to speak with. We participated in the SGK 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk & was able to commute back & forth to Boston with ease. The neighborhood is quiet & is in the perfect spot. Highly recommended!

Boston visit

We had this place booked, but Leonardo called me with bad news about plumbing issues. He and Maria found us another place to stay, paid for the difference, and got us a parking spot all the day before our arrival day. They were very nice to work with. The apartment where we stayed was clean and comfortable. Walkable to CVS and Aldi, a quick trip to the city and to visit relatives. You won’t go wrong staying with Maria and Leonardo.

1st time VRBO - Cozy and nice location

Nice location to local dining, and very cozy spot for 2, though I would not recommend larger groups stay. Our hosts (Leonardo and Maria) were very responsive and took care of our needs. We were unaware of how we should have handed the exchange of towels, but didn't communicate it with the hosts, as we had briught a couple as well. Overall, it more than served its purpose, as we did a TON of sight-seeing and pretty much used it for a place to sleep and get presentsble for the next day. The area was quiet, which I loved. Reminded me of my hometown neighborhood.
