The place was excellent and exactly as described. Perfectly located on quiet street but less than a mile from town / restaurants, etc. Process was easy and next time in Auburn Maine we'll do it again.
The VRBO is half of a side by side duplex - there is a row of these houses on the street, which is charming. Seems quite soundproof between units - the host does ask guests to be quiet in the entry and exit which are shared spaces. Everything was as described. Parking was easy as you can choose from generous on-street parking or a large parking pad in the rear. Good neighborhood - I especially recommend Asian Duck Cafe less than 1/2 block away for take-out. Everything was clean and well-organized.
Lovely, very clean house. Nice, comfortable bedding and thick, soft towels. Wish we could have stayed another night! Really liked the lavender essential oil by the bed. Nice details
Lovely home for visiting my kid at Bates, so much happier here than at the dreaded Hilton, wish we'd thought of this sooner! Terrific layout, so clean and well-equipped. Fantastic, proactive responsiveness from hosts during a Maine snowstorm/power outage which affected our ability to arrive on time. Can't compliment hosts enough on their connectivity and quick response time. Very, very impressed.
Cute little house. Lots of positive energy. Very clean. Good smelling. Beautiful plants. Positive vibes. Lots of light. Nice neighborhood and super close to everything in the area. Why would you stay at a hotel when you could stay here? Would return for another stay for sure. Fairly priced, too. Quick owner communication.

This property felt like a hidden gem! The moment you walk in it is beautifully organized very tranquil and meme clean! There were so many amenities! Full kitchen with all the cookware you could ever hope to have, a great bathroom, beautiful living room, office, and a perfect bedroom! The hosts were incredibly kind and very responsive to any questions or concerns! They went well out of their way to make sure that our stay was perfect! Finding the location was a breeze and staying there felt like a second home! They were absolutely no downsides! I feel lucky to have found this location and to have had such incredible hosts! Would stay there again in a heartbeat!
Loved the space. Quiet surroundings. Only recommendation would be to leave a nightlight in the bathroom so someone could go in there without turning on or leaving on the main light!.I would definitely stay there again.!! Thank you
While the house is in a neighborhood, the house feels quiet and more remote than it actually is! Great for yoga, reading, but still close to every amendity that you need. The hosts were great! Very responsive and even made great local recommendations.
Emma and I both sell software (she pulled me into it, I was practicing law). We split time between Maine and Milwaukee (come stay with us there!).
Why they chose this property
When we're visiting here from a city, it feels so rural. And then when we spend more time here, we're reminded of all the suburban comforts that are so close by. It's the best of both worlds. I love the produce we get here year round but especially in summer. You have an amazing farmer's market every week in Lewiston, and then farms (and berry farms!) minutes away.
What makes this property unique
Maine is one of the best places for birding, and I always love tuning in to the variety of wildlife we hear here. We love how centrally located this spot is - so much of Maine is a day trip away, and the more time you spend here the more nooks and crannies you discover.
