Great snowy getaway

We really enjoyed the Basecamp Lodge!! It was HUGE and well equipped! Pillows were cozy the rooms at opposite ends allowed for privacy. My wife and I, 4 month old daughter, my mother in law and our two friends (another couple) were so comfortable here. Our only complaint was dirty dishes found in the oven, discovered after I had preheated it. That bummed us out, but otherwise it was lovely and we will be booking here next trip to Mount Shasta! Thanks again!!

Family Thanksgiving and gathering honoring my mother

This was a very comfortable, stylish place - fireplace is a huge asset, nice living gathering space and dining area. Good kitchen for cooking. Beds comfortable. Really liked that several people in our group could have other cabins and then gather. Great, charming low key place!

The best in Mt Shasta

After staying in Mt Shasta for 11 weeks at 10 different properties , this property ran by Angela gets our vote. We are private contractors who live on the road every week. It was absolutely perfect!

Cozy and comfortable for family

The place was very clean and well maintained. We felt the place was. Better than how it looks in the photos. Bed was very comfortable and have a lot of space for family and friends. Pretty close to center of the town. We really liked the place. However there is some scope of improvement specially the place need a dishwasher. The microwave is pretty small and need upgrade.. Also, as another family mentioned in their comment, the knife need to be changed. They are not sharp. Apart from this everything else was great and we look forward to stay here again in future

Great Location: Left a lot unexpected

First, the owners have excellent communication. Two of the 5 split unit heaters weren’t working despite multiple attempts and following the directions and they immediately jumped to fix this issue. And their maintenance man, was fantastic. Second the house is historic and very cute. The decor is excellent, you can tell they care about how it looks. Absolutely beautiful and comfortable. The property said it shared two walls, but it shares two walls and another unit upstairs which was unexpected making three. The kitchen has a lot of utensils and items to use, but unfortunately the knives were very dull and the manual can openers did not work. We booked this house to white snow and finalize a business partnership and the internet was promised to be fast, but it kept going in an out every 7-10 minutes. This could be weather related, but it meant we couldn’t take the conference call we needed to take.

Fantastic

Our stay was fantastic. We had a total of 9 people, 5 kids and 4 adults. The unit is spacious and well decorated. It didn’t feel crowded even with 9 people. Location was great as well.

Great place to stay!

This was the perfect place for us. It was spacious, incredibly clean, and very comfortable. We came up to Mount Shasta to go fishing, hiking, and visit some family that lives nearby. The house had everything we needed and is in a great location. We all thought the carvings in the ceiling were very cool. The owners take really good care of this property and it was appreciated by us all! We didn’t have very good luck with the fishing, but we had it with the stay! We will definitely be booking again.

Exactly what I needed

This beautiful place somehow had both a rustic and modern feel. It was plenty spacious enough for myself and 3 siblings, and we loved hanging out in the back. Great central location for us. Loved it and would definately stay there again!

Luxury at foot of Mt Shasta

This is a fantastic location for jumping off on Shasta adventures while being in a safe neighborhood. The unit was fantastically furnished and supplied, with small touches not usually found in other stays (extra trash bags, full kitchenware, cooking supplies, lots of towels). We were thrilled to see a custom indoor bike rack (and helmet rack), and the shared back patio had games and at least four hammocks. What a great space...we will be returning with more family and renting out additional villas next summer.
