This was an excellent place to stay. It was clean, spacious enough for 3, and in a beautiful neighborhood. It was close to many things. We really enjoyed the patio in the evenings! I would highly recommend Dewey Cottage.
The cottage was very nice and roomy. We came to visit relatives and tour the local area. The cottage is located in a nice quite neighborhood and within an hours drive to various parks and historic sites. We will likely stay here again on future trips.
The house had the space we needed and the feel of country. After we left we realized we left our pillows and the host sais they would hold for us to make arrangements to pick up. That is something that never happens with a hotel. We will definitely return. Thank you for the hospitality.
One of our best rental stays! The property is absolutely adorable and was more than we expected. Clean and with everything we needed. The host made sure we were happy and offered any help we needed, but the place made it easy. There are some issues with online maps, but the host explained it ahead of time, resulting in no trouble at all finding it.
We found out about the double book after driving for 8 hours. We had the code, we open the door, and the house was dirty and occupied. Thankfully the person wasn't there, or else he might have thought that we were trying to rob the place.
The lady/host talked to my wife and made a joke out of it... not funny. Since we were upset by this issue and they didn't want us to give them a bad review, they gave the house to the family scheduled to come at 4:30 or 5PM that same day. Yes, 3 different bookings

We ended up staying in a hotel.
Overall impression was home-y, cozy, and meets the most common needs for a vacation rental~ plenty of dish/cookware, towels & linens, coffee and hospitality!
All entrances to house require using stairs. I am physically challenged with stairs so the issue that incurred was mine only. The rental house was worth the few stairs to get there!
My family has rented a number of VRBOs across the country. This is one of the best we’ve stayed at. The house is very charming and well-decorated; and it’s on a very quiet street with immaculately kept older homes. We would definitely stay again.
The Twin Oaks Winer was 4 miles from the house. Their is where our Family Wedding was. Great places to eat in beautiful & Historic downtown Farmington. The house was perfect. We loved the outdoor area and fire pit. It was the beat!!!
This home is everything advertised. It is super clean in a great neighborhood. We enjoyed visiting on the back and front porches. It was perfect for our family!
