We found the place to be very clean and was very appealing to the eye. It was a very nice sized property and house. There was 6 of us and we had lots of room and it was a great stay.
4 College girlfriends enjoyed a wonderful getaway. Your home is beautiful, warm, cozy and had everything needed to make our trip relaxing and memorable.
The beds are comfortable, extras blankets and pillows were appreciated. The individual AC units are easy to control. Although the house is on the main street, we were able to sleep through the night. We enjoyed hearing the "Klippity~Klop" of the Amish buggies passing by. The Giant grocery store is nearby around the corner. Convenient to other nearby stores.

My mom, her cousin and I came for the American Quilt Society show in Lancaster (Fabulous by the way) and this house was perfect. Nicely centrally located to every thing we wanted to do and see. Very comfortable. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to explore and enjoy Lancaster County.
Our stay here was fantastic!! The house was just and described and extremely clean! The host Jennifer was top notch when it came to communication on any questions we had. We will definitely stay here again for our next trip to Lancaster!
Beautifully restored and decorated 1920's home on Main Street Leola. Simple yet elegant with plenty of room for a large family to relax and enjoy quaint Lancaster County. Chip and Joanna Gaines and the Magnolia network would have been impressed with the decorating details in this home. Solid wood doors with original fixtures were stunning along with modern and updated kitchen appliances.
Checking in and checking out was seamless with excellent communication from our host. We appreciated the extras including iron/ironing board, Dyson fan and hair dryers. Although this home is located on a busy street, most of the traffic died down by evening.
Be sure to explore the deep lot with beautiful landscaping. And in the evening, take a moment to soak up nature on the private and secluded deck.
We'll be back again, thank you!
We enjoyed our stay here. It was close to good restaurants (make sure you check out Gracie’s on West Main) and grocery stores. Not a long drive to see the Railroad Museum. A little bit of a hike to Hershey, but we knew that when we booked and didn’t mind. The house itself is very roomy. There were only 3 of us but I can see there would be plenty of room for a larger party. House is beautiful and comfortable and we loved the backyard too! We would stay here again.
This house was perfect for our annual girls weekend. It was centrally located to all our activities in Lancaster County. We prefer quiet evenings with games and chatter and this suited us perfectly. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had updated appliances. The bedrooms were a nice size with comfy beds. The host was easy to communicate with. I would stay again in the future.
We were happy to arrive to a big, beautiful, clean home. Jennifer was easy to get a hold of an very accommodating. There were fresh linens and towels. The back yard is also lovely to stroll through.
Home was beautiful and modernly minimalistic. Still had that old original charm which we loved! Excellent temperature control (house was cool throughout on a hot humid day). Backyard is a great size for kids to run around and has a lot of potential to do out there. I spoke to the owner about a few things and was promptly answered back. House was very clean with the exception of the hardwood floors needing a heavy effort mopping throughout the house. If you plan on cooking, the house has most of the basic utensils (I bought and left an oven mitt there because they didn't have one) but otherwise plan on going to the store to buy everything else you'd use at home. I've stayed at different houses in different states using VRBO and all had a kitchen full of cooking essentials and things that people bought and left for the next person (the unspoken rule of use what you need and leave it, or leave something for the next person like sugar). This place only had salt and pepper, one other spice, and a tablespoon of olive oil. I left some things for the next person and hopefully people will keep adding as they stay there or the owner will add more. The house is on a busy main road which can get extremely congested around 4-6pm (25 minutes to move 1/8 mile to the house at the intersection on a Tues) but any other time of day it's smooth sailing. Otherwise, it's in an excellent central location to Amish Village, Shady Maple Smorgasbord, etc. (1.5hr to Gettysburg).
The house was spacious and very clean and beautifully decorated (no clutter!). We appreciated space to spread out and loved the sunny kitchen that spills over into a sunroom! The back deck was also lovely. I did use the Dyson fan that was provided at night for the front bedroom.
My friend and I were so pleased with how clean and neat everything was in the house. There were many little touches that made it special (e.g. blankets on couch to snuggle with). We would have liked a mirror in each bedroom. The only upstairs mirror was in the bathroom, but that was a minor point to the wonderful decor.
We traveled to PA to experience some winter. The house was easy to locate, roomy and warm (once we figured out the correct thermostats for upstairs). The house is situated on a busy road but extremely accessible. We didn't mind the noise. The floors were creaky but lent to the charm of the house. Our children used the blankets and pillows to gather around the TV room on the floor. Overall it was centrally located to all the areas we wanted to visit. We didn't explore the yard but enjoyed the view and all the birds in the twisty tree located on the veranda.
We love the old world charm along with a very nicely updated house. It had pretty much everything we could have wanted. It does sit on a noisy road but the Dyson fan came in handy to provide white noise at night. Will stay here again.
Perfect stay for our family of four. Centrally located to everything we needed. Private, spacious home with updated amenities yet still holds charm of a 1920s home. We will definitely return.
We chose this property for its proximity to sight n sound theatre, but it was such a lovely home and the garden was beautiful, that was a bonus. The house was spotless, a recent renovation with everything clean and new, including the towels. We would definitely return for our next trip to Lancaster!
The house was great, very clean, bright, comfortable beds, kitchen was well stocked with all the amenities we needed. The location was central to all the activities we enjoyed during our trip. The deck and front porch are large and have chairs for relaxing. It would be good to have a table on deck to use as well. We will definitely rent here again.
