Guest access
• Keyless smart lock to the main entrance door for self-check-in (Access code provided on the date of arrival).
• Dedicated driveway & additional street parking available in front of the home.
• The 3rd bedroom has a door to the driveway, which is locked from the inside. The detached garage has a side door, which is also locked. Keys to both doors are located next to the "turtle shell" statue in the kitchen.
Other things to note
• All guests must have a government ID verified by VRBO and a profile photo prior to booking.
• Wi-Fi password, general guidelines, and area recommendations will be provided in a separate message after the booking reservation is completed.
• Non-smoking property. Please only smoke outdoors (including the use of medical cannabis). Any violation will result in $1000 cleaning fee and immediate cancelation.
• Towels are provided by the number of guests and the night stays accordingly. Please use the washer, dryer, & available detergent for additional needs.
• Restrictive pet policy with prior approval from the host. Please tell us the type of breed & weight of your pet. A $95 non-refundable pet fee and a $150 pet deposit are required. After your departure and our cleaners have done their pet inspection, we will refund your deposit. Potty-trained required and please pick up after yard droppings. A maximum of 2 pets is allowed. Guests need to attend to their pets at all times.

*DO YOU ALLOW PETS?*
-Restrictive pet policy with prior approval from the host. Please tell us the type of breed, weight, and if your pet is house trained.
-Maximum of 2 pets are allowed.
-A $150 pet fee will be collected prior to your arrival. The only exception is Service Animal with official documentation.
-Bringing unauthorized pet will result in immediate cancellation without a refund and a $1000 fine.
• We have routine professional pest treatment for the house and you may find some dead ones here and there as a result. We also can have addition bug treatment upon request. However, please advise that bugs are common for humid environment in Galveston and unless there is evidence of active infestation we will not accept any fully refund cancelation for the matter.
• Our AC system is regulated by a Nest smart device. Most of the time, the temperature in the house is automatically adjusted by the default setting. Guests are allowed to adjust the temperature during their stay. However, when the outside temperature rises into the triple digits (in Fahrenheit), the system will not cool the house to below 73 degrees, regardless of the setting. Guests are kindly requested to maintain a temperature between 73 and 78 degrees to prevent overtaxing the AC system. Please note that if service is needed, our AC technician requires 24 hours notice.
• Our pool undergoes routine servicing every Thursday. However, we also have a lot of trees in the backyard and debris still fall into the tree often, especially very fine green pollens in the bottom of the pool. They are not algae and we can ensure you that the pH and pool condition is safe to use. To combat all the fallen leaves and pollens, we provide a water vacuum and a skimmer for guests to use if additional cleaning is needed.
• There are 3 external Ring cameras actively recording/monitoring the outdoor area (1 on the exterior side of the front door, 1 facing the driveway, 1 over the outdoor pool) There is no recording device in the interior of the house.
• This bungalow is in a quiet, safe, residential area and unsuitable for large parties or gatherings. With that in mind, please be respectful to our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum after 8 PM. Quiet hours are from 8 PM to 7 AM for (Sun - Thurs) and from 10 PM to 7 AM for (Fri - Sat).
Due to past instances involving unpermitted parties, we have implemented additional requirements for reservations near maximum guest capacity:
- Guests must have an overall 5.0 rating from previous reviews.
- For large group reservations, we do not accept guests who reside locally.
For safety reasons, we may request guests to provide a photo of their valid ID and a selfie upon booking, as recommended by VRBO.
