Summary:
Welcome to Wellers Landing, a modern lake house retreat on the peaceful shores of Wellers Bay in Prince Edward County. Just a 2-hour drive from Toronto and a beautiful 20-minute cruise to PEC’s vibrant wine hub.
Wellers Landing has all the playful necessities of a cottage (kayaks and a canoe) while also providing the comforts of modern living (Starlink wifi)
No animals of any kind are allowed at the property due to health concerns.
This home is fully licensed per Prince Edward County bylaws (ST-2021-0198).
The Space:
Wellers Landing is a stylishly decorated open concept lake house that can comfortably entertain and sleep 8 guests. As soon as you walk in you're greeted by wall-to-wall windows showcasing the expansive views of Wellers Bay.
Spend all your time together in the collective spaces (indoor + outdoor) or retreat to the individual oasis bedrooms for some alone time. A pocket door separates the back bunk room and beautiful beach-inspired queen bedroom from the main living quarters: kitchen, living, and dining spaces.
With two lakeside decks, the dock, an indoor sauna, a cozy fireplace, and all the fun water sports - you might find it hard to pull yourself away to explore all the incredible farm to table restaurants and wineries that PEC has to offer (although we would highly recommend doing so + will provide a long list of our favourites, of course).
KITCHEN & DINING
A fully equipped, recently renovated kitchen is situated right in the middle of all the action so you can continue to entertain while preparing your meals on the days that you choose not to explore the local wine/food culture. The kitchen and dining area are naturally lit by the wall-to-wall windows facing the lake. There is a deck right off the kitchen with an outdoor dining area and barbecue so you can grill up your favourite meals lakeside and dine among the trees. We recommend shopping at a local grocer/farmers market, sourcing your produce from the many County farms, and pairing your meals with a bottle of local wine.
LIVING SPACE
One large sectional and a pair of modern accent chairs make up the living space cozied up around the built-in fireplace and large screen tv. Connect your tunes to the speaker bar, crack a bottle of your favourite Prince Edward County wine, lounge and visit while the chefs of your group cook up a storm in the kitchen - in this open-concept space you are all together.
