About this property

A-Lure is our downstairs efficiency apartment on St. George Island with a private entrance. The space is located right on the bay with a 100 yard long dock. It is a four block walk to the beach from this side of the island. The room includes a really nice view, king bed, TV, wi-fi , mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and drinking water. The space has its own AC/Heat system. Access to the dock is all yours and we have a two person kayak at your disposal as well. The owners occupy the upstairs living space. Come and relax at our peaceful place on SGI.

Beautiful sunsets!

Loved It! Such a relaxing location. We loved how close the beach access was, perfect place to ride bikes. So many birds to watch, and even dolphin. My husband was able to fish on the dock, and FYI Jordon is a charter captain, with his boat right at the house, we caught a few fish and had a great boat ride. Plan to go back. Jordon and Courtney were always available if we needed anything

A very nice place to visit.

Long range water views with beautiful sunsets. Clean unit with very comfortable bed. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Attentive and pleasant hosts. Good value for the money.

Gorgeous view, clean and quiet

Jordan was very helpful and patient when I had confusion with the VRBO app. Extremely clean, perfect view of the bay (including sunset), thoughtfully furnished and comfortable. Great for bird watchers! Eagles, pelicans and more hunting or sitting on the docks. Recommend!

Wonderful accommodation!

Beautifully kept apartment. Very clean & comfortable. Jordan & Cortney were so nice. No cooking & no sandy beach, but not a big deal to us.

Book this one! You won't be disappointed!

The rental was as described. It was perfect for a fishing trip with my son. The owner was very friendly and helpful but still respected our privacy. He even used his bait net to catch some fish for us to use! We would love to stay here again.

Great wedding anniversary/fishing retreat

This place was excellent!! Absolutely beautiful views rain or shine. We used Jordan’s fishing charter the first day there and caught some tripletail! We did a lot of dock fishing and caught some spotted seatrout and flounder as well! My husband and I love to fish and this was the best set up I could find in the area and the little apartment was super clean and very nice! Jordan and his wife were excellent hosts. We plan on returning!

Bay side gem!

Small but mighty! Fantastic view and super host. The unit was immaculate and well supplied. Every time we saw Jason, he asked if we needed anything. He even put air in our soft tire. Coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator were adequate for light meals. The view is outstanding and the osprey nest with three chicks provided constant entertainment. The sunsets were incredible. We highly recommend this VRBO!

Two day stay to see the area

Jordan was fantastic as the host. Kept asking if we needed anything and offered services as a boat captain if we wanted to. Because we were only there for two nights, and wanted to tour Saint George Island, Port St. Joe, Panama city, etc. We ran out of time. Great person to talk with. Never had a chance to meet his wife Courtney, but with them both best wishes and congrats on their bundle of joy coming soon. Thanks again Jordan, and absolutely loved your place.

Great Getaway

A-lure was a great location on the water. Great sunset views. Very clean, owner very friendly & gave good ideas of things to do on the island. He is also a boat captain & offered to take us on an island tour in the bay, however, weather didn’t cooperate for us ….maybe next time. I would def recommend A-lure !!

Phenomenal location!! Everything excellent!!

The rental is like a nice hotel on the bay with a phenomenal sunset view away from the crowd. Comfortable sheets and foam mattress bed. Filter water was provided. My husband and I have no complaints. Everything was as expected, and it was super easy to check in and out! We enjoyed our stay tremendously and would rent this place again!

Million Dollar View

Absolutely beautiful place with the perfect layout. Small, but so well layed out with the sliding door taking full advantage of the water view and exceptionally clean. All the decking, the dock as well as covered parking allow the feeling of a much larger place. Jordan and Cortney were very welcoming, friendly and made sure you had everything you needed for a relaxing stay. Saw some incredible sunsets and dolphins feeding in the bay. We will definitely be back soon.
