Lake Ontario visit.

View was beautiful. No instuctions left for arrival or departure. Difficulty contacting owner. Lots of potential with a little effort on owners part.

Picturesque lakefront location

Nice lakefront house just a few steps from Great Lake Ontario. House was recently remodeled and comfortable with 2 large HDTV's and an excellent WiFi connection that allows ROKU streaming from many services. Large washer & dryer. The living room has a 3-piece projection bay window that gives a large, dramatic view of beautiful Lake Ontario. Water & sky meet on the horizon to give an ocean-like view of this Great Lake. Deck on back of house with built-in seating on both ends overlooks the lake. Many parks & beaches close by in this beautiful western NY rural setting. We had a great time! Bruce C. April 20, 2024

Weekend at the Lake

This is a sweet little cottage right on the lake shore. It definitely lacked some things that I would expect at a VRBO rental. The pros the TV was huge and one of the two were comfortable. There was no welcome letter or check in or check out instructions. We had to search the entire house to find the Wi-Fi password which was shoved in a drawer in the kitchen.It was not as clean as I would have expected. The coffee maker was not cleaned and had moldy grinds in the top. There are no drinking glasses. The kitchen was not very well equipped for cooking. The refrigerator was full of someone else’s food, kind of gross. There was laundry going in dryer when we arrived and the washer was full of dirty towels. There was a fire pit with no firewood. we had wind one night and something banged up in the attic the entire night keeping us awake all night. We really liked the location and we liked the house it just needs TLC. there is a beautiful deck to sit on and enjoy the lake but no furniture. Just two couches that were soaking wet. A cute little house but definitely not worth the rate that they are asking.
