Pigeon River State Forest is directly out your back door. Great location for hiking, hunting, and fishing. ORV trail access nearby. Optimal area for enjoying the beautiful color changes of fall. Only 2 miles from I-75 and gas station offering off road fuel 2 miles away. Stayed here over memorial day weekend the cabin was very clean quiet and cozy full kitchen charcoal grill and fire pit i would rate 10 out of 10 definitely one ill be staying staying at again

Perfect getaway

This property was a perfect weekend getaway spot. It was just enough outside of town, but still easy to find. Everything was clean, and the fire pit was even set up for the first fire! The king bed was super comfy, and with the black-out curtains provided me amazing sleep every night. Would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful retreat in the woods

I booked this house for a three day stay while participating in a trail riding event in the Wolverine area. Since we were away all day, our stay was limited to evenings only. It was neat and clean and worked well for our needs through the weekend.

Easily accessible while still so private

Such a beautiful location! Sadly a mostly rainy weekend but the house was so spacious we were still able to enjoy board games and the kids could run around without bothering the others.

We had a great time, host went out of his way to accommodate our needs. Could use A/C, and be careful on a motorcycle - its on a gravel road, but I highly recommend.

Peaceful and Enjoyable

The property is exactly what our family loves! Peacefulness in a secluded area. We were only 15 minutes away from our home away from home; Indian River! We had deer right out the back door in the morning while we drank coffee. We will be back!

Cabin stay

The cabin was the refectory size for the four of us. The only issue we had was it was very difficult to cool off the cabin. We were very warm even with all the fans going 24/7.
