Paradise!

What a WONDERFUL place to stay during our honeymoon. It was relaxing and so beautiful! The home was everything we needed and wanted and the views were outstanding. 10/10 recommend and we will definitely come back again!

Nice Sound Side Home

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this home. Access to the sound was fantastic for now being directly on the water. You can just slightly see the sound from balcony on the top floor. Corrola Light resort is great. The pool options are wonderful if you don't have a pool at the house and the trolley service is great at this resort. Vacasa made the whole experience easy for us with renting the house and through our stay. Some upgrade to the house would be a nice touch but it provided everything that we needed for a great week.

Great location, sub par home

Corolla Light is a great community and the amenities are wonderful. However, the home needs improvements on cleanliness and a serious look/upgrades on the quality of the interior furnishings. The cleanliness of the home upon arrival was sub-par the stench of bacon grease lingered throughout the home, the grill was filthy with food and bbq sauce cooked into it, the beds are terribly uncomfortable and all should have mattress covers for hygiene. The kitchen counter is held in place with scotch tape, and the condition of the pots/plans and available utensils should be looked at and replaced. There were unclean dishes in the cabinets. The driveway flooding was problematic the entire trip.

Had everything we needed for a great time

Overall, the house was solid with lots of stuff for our 1.5 year old. Wish the house was a little cleaner when we arrived - specifically the grill and the coffee maker needed some work. Should probably replace the queen mattress on the 2nd floor near the door. We used the hot tub quite a bit and easy walk to lots of places

Bottom line, we’d stay again. BUT…

Bottom line, we would stay again. But, there are a few areas that need attention. The carpet on the stairs could use a good shampooing. The cobwebs in the stairway need to be addressed. The mattresses in the upstairs king and the downstairs queen (with private bath) are worn out. They need to be replaced. The home does NOT have Spectrum cable as stated. We went to the app and it wanted us to begin a 7 day trial. The bunk room does NOT have the TV or the gaming system that was pictured AND listed. The teenage boys staying in that room were disappointed. The stove doesn’t have any words/numbers on the knobs. That was fun when trying to cook meals. Things we did like about the home - it was reasonably priced for the week of Spring break. There is plenty of space in the home. Everyone was able to spread out and plenty of seating in the living room and at meal times. We loved the close proximity to both the Sound and the ocean. The hot tub was nice! Also enjoyed watching the sunset over the sound from the porch swing. There is a gas grill AND a charcoal grill. Plenty of parking for 4 cars. The ice maker in the home was a nice touch!

Nice house but needs updates

House is lovely but kitchen need’s updating with new stove couldn’t read setting on stove(worn off due to years of cleaning. utensils, forks, knives spoons are very old. There was not a sharp knife in the house countertop coming apart. House was amazing. Loved the screened in porch on the second floor love the balcony on the third floor loved the boardwalk to the sound Cetera kitchen just needs updating.

Good house for girls trip

Liked the layout of the house. Short walk to the sound which was beautiful. About a mile walk to the beach. Enjoyed the screen porch and swing on second level that faces the sound The rug in the living room definitely needs something under to grip to floor. A few of us about fell when stepping on it. Very dangerous. I rolled up a put in corner while we were there. Leak under the kitchen sink, which property manager would have sent someone out but it wasn’t bad and we were only there for 2 nights so I just put a towel under and it was fine but looked like it wasn’t 1st leak there was under there. Details said there were no comforters or bedspread but blankets that could be washed if we wanted for peace of mind There were comforters and quilts on beds but one of them had crusted Mac and cheese stain on it. Good thing we brought our own blankets. Bedspreads should definitely be washed if there is dried food on them. Floors are very nice except the carpet on the stairs which is the only carpet in the house. They are very stained and worn. Weather was good for November.
