Loved it here. Perfect little cabin. With everything we needed for a week. Loved the wild life and friendly dogs at the main cabin. Will definitely come back.
My stay at Brule River Cabins was just what I needed for a couple of days away from it all. The cabin has been well refurbished with all the comforts one could expect.
This was the perfect little private cabin for our little family of four. Cozy and with all the essentials needed. Just a short drive to ski brule as well as several other neat areas. We also enjoyed dinner & drinks at the restaurant/bar a few minutes down the road. Would definitely stay there again and have already recommended it to others.
Cabin is everything a fall grouse hunter would want or need. Cabin was clean, easily accessible, and the kit hen had everything needed. I had a great stay and have already booked twice again next season.
Had an enjoyable stay. Only complaint is the heating fluctuation. Cabin gets really chilly before the furnace kicks in and hot by the time it shuts off.
This was a very cozy base camp for our exploration of the upper penninsula. Everything was functional. The bed is comfortable. The hosts anwered questions promptly. The property is close to a road, but hardly anyone ever drove by, so it is a super quiet spot.
Very nice accommodations for a small group.
Management was responsive to my inquiries.
Was allowed early check-in access to prepare for a last minute booking.
Nice little pet friendly cabin next to the Brule River. Its close to a number of lakes if you like fishing, and you can fish the river right there as well. The caretaker that lives nearby was very welcoming and had a very dog named Sarge. The on demand water heater was an unexpected bonus.
This quaint and well appointed tiny cabin was exactly what I needed to reset from a demanding job. Everything worked perfectly, and besides the occasional noise from the nearby road, it was quite peaceful. That calm serenity was only increased by the polite caretaker (who gifted me some local produce), as well as by their friendly and laid-back dog, Sarge!
I plan on being back!
The log cabin we stayed in was perfect. We like to eat in when we stay somewhere that has a kitchen and this one was perfect with all the items needed including a grill and charcoal. The one room cabin was perfect for two people and was in a good location for many scenic drives in the area. We highly recommend Brule River Cabins.
we loved everything about this little cabin! our stay was wonderful, and we took the time to go to Bond falls which is about an hour away, and did not disappoint. there is lots to do within a short driving distance of here, and in August it was nice and cool. would definitely stay here again!
