This was our second year staying. It has everything you could want or need! We hope to keep the tradition going as long as we can. Fishing is always fun and the sand beach is perfect for our young family. The lake is large but small enough to kayak. We love how quiet it is. It really is "better than Disney." Something we look forward to every year. The amenities are just icing on the cake!

The cabin was perfect for our family. Very clean, easy to access and equipped with everything!! We enjoyed fishing off the dock; catching a variety of fish. So fun for the kids! The lake was quiet during the week, making it fun to kayak. Our only complaint, if you will, was the peninsula wasn't what we thought it was going to be, making it hard for the kids to swim. We'd love to come back!
My husband and 3 kids uner 8 stayed here for 6 days and we absolutely loved it! The pennisula/point is a little sandbar which was perfect for our kids. The water surrounding is shallow and warm. Not a super busy lake either. Theres a literal babbling brook along side the cabin and you can hear it from the deck. The amenities were fantastic. We don't rent many private places so i wasnt sure what all would be provided but there was plenty of towels, beach towels, blankets/sheets/pillows, more than enough dishes, kayaks and lilypad to use, fishing poles, life jackets and lawn chairs. There is no central AC, which is fine, its a cabin! There is a window AC unit in the main living space, and we were there during a heat wave so we positioned the fans into the bedrooms and that helped alot at night.
Our family made some great memories playing on the sandbar, in the creek, fishing on the dock and hanging out on the deck. The kids asked on the drive home when we can go back so we cant wait to book again for next summer!!!
The place was just the right size and ability to access round lake. The lake was small enough to enjoy kayaking across the whole thing and big enough to enjoy it 2 different days. Kids loved swimming also and going in the kayaks. Having access to log into our Netflix made it nice for us to enjoy some inside time on the rainy day. St. Croix falls had a nice boat ride to enjoy the river view on our way out of town. Wish we would of had one more day that wasn't rainy.
