This rental.has sprawling windows with oanaromic views of Lake Michigan, and an expansive patio to enjoy it outdoors. Inside is charming an intimate, evwything you need for a cozy quiet getaway.
We most certainly enjoyed coming back to celebrate another anniversary at the property and it was just as fantastic as the first time! Next time maybe we won't wait for a special occasion!
We loved our stay at this property. Loved that it was right on the water and you could walk on the beach. The view from every room in the house was amazing. It was clear that the owner puts effort into making this a comfortable experience for those who are staying. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and it was well stocked with everything we needed. We had 5 adults staying and it was super comfortable and such a peaceful and quiet area. I hope to come and stay again sometime!
The views from the windows of the lake are amazing and make this house a great place to stay. The appliances are older but we were able to cook each night with no problems. Sitting on the back patio watching the waves on the lake and listening to the quiet peace were fantastic!
This property has an absolutely beautiful view from the house. The windows are amazing! Enjoy the sunrise from your bed. Could use some updated bakeware and the stovetop was uneven which made cooking interesting. Some mice made the stay less than wonderful. Country living does have its downfalls sometimes.
This is a very nice lakeshore property. The house has floor-to-ceiling glass windows facing the lake, making a great view in the morning as the sun is rising. The house is well separated from neighboring houses so there is excellent privacy. We enjoyed watching the many birds on the lake in the morning and late afternoon. The kitchen is somewhat dated but adequate for a vacation. The owner was responsive when we had problems with the air conditioning. Overall a nice stay.
Beautiful property along Green Bay, spectacular views of Door County in the distance. Walk along the beach in the entire Bay. Great for family fun! Thanks Meagan!
Beautiful, private and both the house and yard are set up for entertaining. Needs some updates, but stocked with all the necessities and some beach extras that I'm relieved were on hand. I would definitely come back! We very much enjoyed ourselves!
This location was just what we needed. The layout was ideal inside and outside the home. Rooms are on opposite ends of the home. The water was not far. Though the beach was largely covered by shells of what I think were zebra mussels, we had appropriate footwear to accommodate walking the beach and in the water. We loved that this space was away from hustle and bustle and among the wild! Golf courses were not terribly far. Hope to stay again for our annual trip to Christmas in July.
The Lake Michigan view is even better than it appears in the listing photos. We would definitely stay again. We brought along lawn chairs and spent a lot of time outside at the lakeside. Nice firepit to roast hot dogs and make s'mores. Bring along water shoes to really enjoy the shallow lake entry.
It is a very comfortable and relaxing place. We loved the fact that there was usable cookware. The temps in the evening were cooler, so we turned the A/C off and opened the sliders. The absolute best part of this house is that it is on the Lake (technically the Bay) Sitting near the water was absolutely mesmerizing. A very good place.
We were looking for a place to power down and go off the grid and this place was perfect! Next time we'll bring more yard games, the lawn space is vast, so is the Lake and the shoreline, just amazing to watch the sky and lake change over a few late summer days there. Fire next to the water nightly, with the meditative constant sound of the waves lapping the shore were real highlights.. some fun forest area for kids to explore too! For a nature-loving, somewhat rustic up north experience with amazing views, this is the place .

Disappointed. Returned home. Received refund.
Our family was very disappointed by the condition of the cottage on arrival, and decided to return home. The owner graciously provided a refund. The lakefront setting holds a lot of promise for nature lovers.
We enjoyed a beautiful view of the bay from all rooms in the house! Our kids enjoyed playing in the large yard and spent most of their time swimming while the adults enjoyed “adulting” on the nice, large walk round patio. Very quiet with no neighbors in sight. Internet connection was solid. The only drawback was the zebra muscles on the majority of the beach. That being said it don’t slow the kids down at all. We had a really good time in the cottage and will definitely be back!

Pretty views
The place over all was pretty decent. Very very pretty, quiet/relaxing and great views. The outside area is amazing, and the large windows were beautiful to watch the sunrise. Both bathrooms are carpeted, and the main bathroom doesn’t have blinds or a curtain to block the massive window so we mostly used the smaller bathroom. We had an instance where a glue trap that the host placed was stuck to our clothes, and then also found out there was a live mouse stuck on it. We then found a second glue trap with a dead mouse and a 2nd live mouse stuck to it in the kitchen. We understand that being in the country there isn’t much you can do about it, but it was still disturbing to find. Informed the host about it with no response or acknowledgement. Pictured rocks shoreline wasn’t too far away, we were able to make a day trip out there, which was beautiful!
We are familiar with the area because we frequently tent camp at Wells state park nearby. That may be a thing of the past, as this location is a spoiler. All of the joys of nature with none of the unexpected surprises of a tent.
Cozy place on a beautiful, quiet spot. Lovely sunrises, short walks to the water, great rooms for three kids/two adults. Clean with nice amenities throughout the house. Would stay again.
very good, owner super to deal with was exactly what we wanted
plan on going back in the fall, bring something to do not much there but piece and quiet that is what we wanted view is super
