The traditional finca "Sa Cova da sa Madona" stands for about 200 years behind the monastery "Consolacion" at s'Alqueria Blanca amidst rolling hills and is looking forward to your visit. From the house you can reach the natural park and the beaches of the idyllic Cala Mondragó and S'amarador in less than 7 kilometers. The plot of the finca nestles on a hill, which is why a total of three terraces with Mallorcan walls were created. On the top terrace, old olive and pomegranate trees frame the magnificent view of the sea and the village of Alqueria Blanca (1.5km). There you can linger on one of the sunbeds and, if necessary, refresh yourself with the outdoor shower set into the natural stones of the mountain. The area invites to a daily walk to the monastery and the surrounding hills and valleys, from where you can get a great impression of the southeast tip of Majorca up to the island of Cabrera.
This rustic finca is preserved in its original structures and forms. When furnishing, attention was paid to harmony and respect with the building. In the main house you will be welcomed directly from the large living and dining room. The large dining table forms the center of the room and offers enough space for all visitors. Left of the entrance leads into the small and modern kitchen. However, please do not expect "modern world achievements" like microwave and dishwasher. We are just inviting you to escape from this fast-paced world for a few days of the year and have deliberately avoided using any technical equipment that is not absolutely necessary. This is because the house provides its own power supply by means of its own solar system. But do not worry: toaster, kettle and coffee maker are available, as well as a spacious, modern refrigerator and a fine gas stove. Of course, a washing machine is also available and whether you want to turn off your mobile phone on vacation is entirely up to you, Wi-Fi is available in any case.
The upper floor has been extended as a large bedroom to make the room appear as a whole. A bright bathroom with shower and a separate toilet are also located on the upper floor. In this master bedroom is basically room for two people (a double bed), a cot is of course deliverable.
Behind the finca connects to the house another room, which is accessible via a small path around the finca (not ten meters, but just no access from the inside of the finca). There, the guests can expect a cozy gallery room. In the lower area of the same is the double bed, you can left inside the room in the gallery area upstairs. There are storage space and a quiet seating. It is ideal for those who love their own realm and want to retire a bit. A second bath completes the ensemble, it is located halfway between finca and gallery room and has a shower and toilet.
Life on the island invites you outside: For this you will find comfortable chairs and chairs, a large rustic dining table and of course a Weber grill. In front of the sun, you are protected by a parasol or by the two terraces at the house, a covered and protected by many shady trees. If the weather is actually more for a cozy TV evening talk, this is also possible with the existing Astra satellite flat screen TV.
The finca is located in an area that counts as a precursor to nature reserve. On the one hand, this means that you can enjoy the tranquility of the island away from the crowds and snakes. On the other hand, you will also get acquainted with nature. On the neighboring property is lovingly cared for various birds, such as turkeys, geese and peacocks, who enjoy their time happily and it may well be that you get from time to time by a small black charmer visit, which is called Chico and a trusting dog who welcomes new guests.

Romantic getaway

Romantic getaway in the country on a hillside. Nice views, very quiet, beautiful night skies. The property is very spacious and the kitchen well equipped. The access to the property by car is down through a dip and then up a steep hill. Confident driving skills are an advantage here, and possibly a small car to get round the final bend. Plenty of space for parking including a car port that offers shade.
