While the cabin was clean, and cozy..it wasn’t quite what we expected. The posting on vrbo advertised this cabin being on the strip in Gatlinburg, however it’s truly 3 miles away in the mountains, which was the original reason we were willing to pay over budget for this cabin, to then be let down upon arrival. When we attempted to communicate with the office, they were rude and dismissive of our concerns. I would most definitely recommend additional blankets, and towels be provided in the cabin, as we were left with only sheets to sleep with. We will not be returning customers.
Truly beautiful!!! Great for two couples tops, king bed is in game room (pool table) area is one. Queen bedroom had open ceiling into living/kitchen…very different but suitable. Beautiful vaulted authentic log cabin!
The cabin overall is a good size. Needs a little more cleaning, we found dirt and dog toys under the couches. Also, we were looking forward to the Christmas decorations and this cabin had none whatsoever. Also on the listing it doesn't specify that you have to park on the side of the road.
We stayed here for 3 nights with 3 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of space for 5 people. Kids enjoyed the hot tub. Pool table needs repair and chalk for cue sticks. Moisture in downstairs bathroom is pretty bad when shower is on. Could use extra blankets and pillows and better mattresses. Location was very convenient.
