Eight Senior Citizens rented Big Sky in Gatlinburg for 4 nights. We were MOSTLY hanging out, staying in. The dishwasher didn't work. We called the property manager who said repairing it was up to the owner. I tried to contact the owner via Home Away message. No reply. In fact this owner didn't reply to ANY of our messages. So we washed dishes by hand. This cabin needs a deep cleaning. It's fairly clean where you look, but the corners of the showers have black crud, and there is thick dust on windows and trim.
The location was great! Cabin was very spacious and the view was awesome! The road upto the cabin is crazy curvy. I can only think of a couple things that the cabin needs - more towels, more cook wear/baking sheets and brighter lights outside. Over all it was a great little get away and I’d stay there again
The Home itself is beautiful, but needs a little TLC. Cob Webs in all the showers, dirty wood floor, pull out couch's had a very uncomfortable mattress, Hot Tub did not work and the Dishwasher was not attatched to the wall and easily comes out from the wall. Beautiful setting and nice rooms, it was just less then what we had anticipated.
Was very pleased with the place we stayed. Only exception would be cleanliness of cobwebs and corners. Also quite a few vertical blinds did not work. The kitchen could use new pots and pans and possibly some Tupperware for storage if needed. otherwise, the view was awesome and everything else about the place was very nice.

Gatlinburg Family Vacation
While the property satisfied our family needs in size and location, several things disappointed which we felt should have been noted in a normal inspection. We had to call service in to repair the hot tub and replace the refrigerator with 24 hours of arrival. Not one window blind worked in the entire cabin. The HVAC intake filter had not appeared to be changed/cleaned in months (years?) Also, for group size, inadequate quantity of dishes, silverware, glasses were provided. There also was not any outside collection bins for garbage; had to keep inside cabin entire time. Would not rent this property again.
Very clean, spacious and beautiful scenery. Photos make rooms appear a bit larger than actual size even though rooms are spacious.
Would suggest arriving during the daytime, mountain driving is steep and narrow. Numbers on the homes are not very visible even during the day.
Great stay, great price
Amazing cabin with fantastic views.. easy to find, we even had a bear siting during our stay .. the beds are so Amado absolutely comfortable.. water pressure a little weak but not horrible.. wish it would of had salt pepper those kinds of things.. great shirt distance from downtown .. parking garage is on farthest end of town only down fall.. everything was amazing
Location was absolutely perfect - so close to downtown Gatlinburg while also having a beautiful view of the mountains. Plenty of room to fit our family and spend time together while in the cabin. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin! There is all necessary things provided line towels linen, minimal toiletries. All 5 showers had very slow water flow, they probably need to remove the flow meters in them. But hot water was there! Hot tub was a plus for this! Enjoyed pool table too!!
We had two family’s meet up from GA and MO in the Smoky Mountains for a Fourth of July gathering! Cabin was perfect for the two families of 4 each, with more than enough room for everyone. We enjoyed the clean cabin and loved being close enough to Gatlinburg but also just far enough away you didn’t feel like you were in the middle of the madness. We saw both the parade and Fourth of July fireworks from the cabin porches! Would recommend staying here over and over again!
This trip was amazing from beginning to end. This cabin was gorgeous and clean and luxurious! There were 6 of us in our group and we had a hard time leaving the cabin to enjoy Gatlinburg because we were so comfortable! The staff was awesome and accommodating. We had a minor maintenance issue and they came right out. We will definitely be back!
Well stocked, beautiful, well decorated home. Hot tub was perfect for chilly nights. Very clean home. Bathrooms in each room was nice. Everything worked great! Coffee pot and keurig both were available to use. Pool table was in pretty rough shape but we didn't really use it anyway. Agency was great to work with! No issues! Road up to cabin is pretty steep and a little rough so might be in trouble if it snows or hard rain. Right next to town with mountain views. Only took us two minutes to get to downtown. Would definitely stay here again!
