The lower level has two large bedrooms with queen beds, one bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and a living room with cable TV and a full-sized sleeper sofa. Upstairs is a one bedroom apartment with a queen bed, full bath, kitchen, and living room. Close to bike trail, downtown, parks, and the beach. Close to enough for the action yet far enough away to allow for peace and quiet.

Ironman worthy!

Amazing place to stay. Super close to the downtown area. Came into town for my first 1/2 ironman. My son and I were running late and our eta was 10:30 pm. The amazing hosts turn on some lights for us before we got there. The house had everything we needed and was super close to the transition area for my race. Hoping that Ironman 70.3 comes back to Frankfort so I have an excuse to come back north but if not the people and sunsets by the light house are just a few reasons to come back for another visit.

Great location and wonderful hosts!

My family travels to Frankfort every summer but as the kids have gotten older, we have outgrown sharing hotel beds. But we also want to be close to town. This house is in a terrific location; a tree-lined neighborhood walkable to all of the Frankfort shops and restaurants, the library and parks, Frankfort beach and more. Frankfort itself is an ideal home base for up North day trips to places like Elberta beach, Point Betsie, Platte River, Crystal Lake, the Cherry Hut, Sleeping Bear Dunes, etc. With a beautiful front porch and amazing next-door hosts, this is a perfect choice and we can't wait to return!

Wonderful Stay!

We loved this home! We spent a few days with our adult children, and this house was absolutely perfect for us. The kids stayed in the two rooms on the first floor, while we took the little apartment upstairs. We appreciated a little bit of separation in the mornings since the kids slept later than us, and we didn't have to worry about waking them. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for walking to the beach and to the stores and restaurants, and for accessing the Betsie Valley Trail. The hosts were very kind and quick to respond to questions.

Great stay!

We really loved Frankfort and this house is all about location! You can walk to a beautiful beach on Lake Michigan and walk right into downtown for restaurants, shops, ice cream, and more. Really great little park for small children steps away. The house was clean and cozy and as described. We wanted to visit the dunes and this got us really close by. Thank you hosts!

Cozy stay in a great location!

The best part about the house is its proximity to downtown and the beach. The check-in process was smooth and Janet was easy to get in touch with and so friendly. The house is cozy with a lovely porch for spending mornings/evenings on. As the second floor has its own living area, bathroom, and kitchen, it provides privacy from the first floor. Great stay! Highly recommend!!

Amazing Home Close to Evwrything

This house is a beautiful home, extremely clean, and close to everything. We really enjoyed our time here. We sat on the front porch with coffee, we made a great homemade meal. This home has it all! Very spacious!

Relaxing and convenient

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home in Frankfort. Perfectly located within walking distance of Main Street businesses, Lake Michigan beach front and the harbor for our fishing experience. Clean home with a relaxing porch swing and all the necessary amenities. Definitely a vacation worth repeating!!

Great Location

Just a block from downtown this rental has many advantages for those who like to simply walk for shopping and food. It is also close to biking/hiking trails. The house was very comfy and easy to settle into with a large living room with adjoining dining room. Kitchen is medium size and has everything you would probably want. We stayed in one of the two bedrooms which are not large, but I would think adequate size for most couples. Barroom is small, but hey, have you ever been to Europe? It works and no complaints other than the size. Overall a very “good feeling” comfortable rental. Janet has done an excellent job decorating all the spaces and everything is exceptionally clean. Oh, and I thought our bed was very comfortable. Not too firm and not too soft.

Excellent stay in Frankfort

We stayed for 4 nights and had an excellent trip. The property was clean and in a prefect location to explore the area. Great sitting area outside as well to relax. Janet had plenty of coffee, granola bars and oatmeal waiting for us which was a nice surprise. Janet is quick to respond to messages and was a great host. We would definitely choose to stay here again when visiting the area.

A Perfect House in Town

The perfect spot!

Cannot recommended this home enough! Wonderfully appointed with homey extras of soft linens, cozy furnishings, and a large bright kitchen. There is a front porch swing and lawn large enough for yard games. Two blocks from the Main Street in Frankfort with shops and dining, and a 5 minute walk down a tree lined street to the shores of Lake Michigan. Janet is quick to respond to any question and an excellent host. Hoping to return soon!

We had a wonderful time in Frankfort thanks to the great description and attention to detail by the hosts. My family loved the property location with great access to Sleeping Bear and the very convenient Frankfort downtown and beach which is second to none!

This property is clean, situated in a prime area and the host is very friendly. The beach is 5 blocks away, downtown Frankfort is less than two blocks away. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a quaint property located in a friendly community with lots to do. The paved bike trail is also within walking distance.
