The view from this property is simply spectacular, all day and all night. Enjoy endless hours from the private deck of this 3 bedroom 2 bath rustic lake cottage. You will have a main channel view to enjoy all the water activities the lake has to offer including a race course view for the "Shootout" boat races in August.
Grill and chill on the deck with a gas weber BBQ and patio furniture. Fish or just relax on the 1 well dock in the "NO WAKE" cove. You can toast marshmallows or roast hotdogs on the lower level in the chiminea or enjoy the campfire.
LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION
This property is located 1/4 mile down a blacktop street off Hwy 5 at the end of the peninsula. Walking distance to 3 restaurants/bars (Captain Ron's, The Branding Iron and a new Honky-tonk opening in May 2023. Close to gas stations, Pirates' Point for boat your rental needs and Wood's grocery store which is only 2.2 miles away. The Westside has many more great restaurants within a short drive. The Bagnell strip is approximately 20 a minute drive.
The well equipped kitchen has a 36" gas stove with, full size fridge, separate ICE MACHINE, Cuisinart double-sided waffle maker, crockpots, a good selection of drinkware, cookware, spices and more.
2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each room and 1 full bathroom are located on the main floor. 1 bedroom with a king bed and additional bathroom with shower are located on the lower level.
The property has a dog friendly fenced yard and plenty of parking space for your vehicles and, more importantly... your boat trailers!

Lake of the Ozarks spring break

We had a great time on Lake of the Ozarks. My husband, two adult sons, 2 dogs and I stayed at this property. It was very clean and well-equipped. We loved the view, the gated deck and fenced area for ease with our dogs, and a great fishing dock. When we weren’t on the water, we enjoyed time golfing, hiking or hanging out on the sectional couch together. Having a nice washer and dryer really helped too! Due to the time of year, our cove was very quiet and peaceful.

Shootout Vacay

View and Location for ShootOut was awesome! Deck view amazing as was dock! Beds comfortable and couch, kitchen was large and had an awesome stove and lots of ice in ice maker - a must! Upstairs bath nice but jets didn't work in tub. Only one bedroom had a tv. The queen air mattress didn't hold air. Basement bath & bdrm very nice but needs a tv. The fenced yard for dogs was perfect and Dog Friendly place like this is hard to find - Over all WE LOVED THIS PLACE! Never could get code to work on side door, Luckily back door was unlocked. I never found info on what to do when leaving - so we emptied all trash, stripped beds, turned a/c up to 75 and made sure puppy poop all picked up. : )

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

My husband and our dogs had a wonderful stay at this property. It was perfect location wise, the amount of space and the fenced yard was very nice. We enjoyed spending time on the dock and mornings with coffee on the deck. We would definitely stay again! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful

Very beautiful setting and exceptional kitchen. I love the dog friendly fence. I saw a heron fishing on the dock and little chipmunks running around. The owners have many special touches. Dog cookies, snacks and plush towels and very comfortable bedding and bed. There are many places to sit and relax. So clean. There just wasn’t anything I wanted to be different. There is a natural garden that is just lovely and you park right at the door. Very nice

Additional waterfront details

The dock is only suitable for 18’ boat or smaller. Bring your own bumpers and tie ropes. Although no wake, it’s on a point off main channel and high traffic. Wind and waves make it difficult to dock and during peak daytime hours, it’s not a safe swim area for kids. The view is incredible. Many cobwebs you will need to deal with as you are up in the trees. Easy walk-in access to the home.

Very nice house and great location

We had a family vacation; my husband, I and part of the family stayed next door and rented this house for my son and his girlfriend's family. The view and all the amenities were wonderful. The property owner was very nice and left a welcome basket for all the guest including the fur baby. Highly recommend.

Great getaway!

We wanted a quiet getaway for a few days. The covered dock, fence for our dogs, along with the updated house made for a great vacation. The house was beautiful and very well stocked. The kitchen had everything you could ever need. Highly recommend.

The Lake House

The fall colors this time of year are just amazing in the Ozarks. This waterfront getaway has a deck with a beautiful view, a private fishing dock, a well stocked kitchen and the amenities we needed to accommodate our dog. The hosts were friendly and responsive. We loved this house and can’t wait to go back.

Tranquil and beautiful

Gorgeous view and outdoor spaces in a very quiet street. Doggy area definitely a plus, and the deck is also gated. The home was very clean, it had everything you could need, it was spacious and warm and cozy at the same time. We loved our stay and hope to go back next year. Peaceful with a great view.

The view of the lake was so relaxing and it was so fun watching the boats. Very dog friendly and clean. Every need was met and the communication was perfect. We had to postpone due to Covid and the owners were understanding and worked with us. Highly recommend.

Complete lake experience!

This home was incredible! Truly dog friendly, ample space for 3 couples and the views couldn’t be beat. Loved the kitchen space and the extras they provided. Can’t recommend this home enough for a family lake getaway!

Much needed Vacay!!

We had so much fun on this trip and this place has The Best View! Enjoyed coffee on the deck in the mornings and our late afternoon swims off the dock. Packed a lot in the week we stayed there and we plan to be back! Very nice place and everyone was very friendly in the neighborhood.

Beautiful property and excellent location.

First trip to the Ozarks with the family and we loved every minute. This location is close to Lake of the Ozarks State Park and HaHaTonka state park. Caves touring, hiking, and enjoying the water were some of our favorites. Thank you for sharing your amazing property for us to thoroughly enjoy.

Great Vacation at a Great Property

The property has everything you need. Everything was clean and well maintained. The kitchen had everything you need to make great meals. We loved cooking there. We have big dogs and they didn't hesitate to let us bring them, which meant a lot to us, not everyone allows pets especially big dogs. (Both are very well trained, so they don't mess with anything.) Everything in the home was very comfortable. Don was very responsive and helpful with any questions or help we needed. Would happily stay here again.

July 2023 Stay

Our stay was great! We had our family of four and our dog. Our 2 teenage daughters (16 & 20) love lake life and lake swimming. We enjoyed swimming from the dock and did some fishing too. Everything was great. The stand alone ice machine was very handy and the grill worked well. Quiet area and great views. The basement has some finish work that still needs to be completed, but the basement was clean and well kept. Great location. Easy to visit Captain Ron’s which is really close and The Cave is nearby and we rented a waverunner one day and a pontoon another day from Pirates Point which is really close.
