We had a lovely weekend stay at this simple, but very well decorated rental. Cozy and comfortable space. Host was very accommodating. The spiral staircase (to the bathroom and bedrooms) adds to the historical charm. Highly recommend this location.

Our Host was great! very responsive to all of our messages with questions!
We attended a family reunion and wedding in Albion. The apartment is spacious, with comfy beds, and was a great place to home base for the weekend. Thank you!andwas a great
We traveled to the area for a wedding from out of state and this was perfect for our short stay. We liked the charm of the house and enjoyed having a quiet place to relax before and after the festivities.
My family really enjoyed our week long stay in this charming home. It had everything we needed. Brooke was quick to respond when I had any questions. Brooke and Peter always made sure we had everything we needed whenever we saw them. They're adorable dog was a huge hit with us! Thank you, Brooke and Peter!
When I come back to Western New York, where I grew up for weddings, etc. etc. I always stay at this VRBO, they never let me down. if you have an issue, they get right back to you 4 thumbs up
We had a wonderful time on our first trip together to our HOMETOWN! We were both born in Albion although we didn't know each other back then. We absolutely loved our stay here. We were so comfortable, had plenty of room, loved sitting at the kitchen table every morning having coffee and discussing our plans for the day. We loved having a washer and dryer on site, we loved the comfortable bedding and towels. The kitchen had everything we needed. The place is decorated so darling and has everything you need. The front porch was lovely although I didn't have much time to sit on it! I did get joy at one rainy afternoon for a short time. And we loved our back door / porch entrance. We absolutely loved Gigi, the resident pup and we miss her already!
The only thing I would want to say for future visitors is to know that the stairs can be hard for someone with disabilities. I have a very bad back, but in the end maybe it was good for me after all to have to do it everyday, although it was hard! 😊. Also, it would be so easy to make a little half bath in the back room, there is already plumbing there and plenty of room. That would save a few trips on the stairs anyway!
We absolutely loved "our" little house for the week and we would definitely stay again in the future. Peter and Brooke are the best hosts! Thank you for a fantastic week!

We traveled from Spokane, Washington to my hometown in New York for a family wedding and have an absolutely wonderful time. It was nice to come back to a peaceful quiet place to sleep and relax after a busy day of sightseeing and visiting family.
The house had so much historical character which we loved. The front porch was great to sit on and have a cup of coffee or read a book. The property is correctly described in the listing. We would stay here again if we are in the area.
I needed a small comfortable place in western NY. This fit the bill perfectly.
The shower is to die for and I love the old floors. Reminded me of the home I grew up in.
For a WNY born and bred girl eho lives elsewhere it was perfect as a short drive away is Tops supermarket with the best donuts in the US...
Just perfect
Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and in a nice area near the canal. Bed was really comfy! I loved all of the little touches like the record player and records in one of the bedrooms
We booked this location due to its proximity to the wedding venue and price but I tell you this. After staying at this VRBO, if I was within 30 miles of a site, I would definitely stay here. Owners were quick to respond, met them onsite and always offering to assist if anything was needed.
The property was clean, a unique design and very nice neighborhood.
Really enjoyed our stay.
Tim
We had a wedding to attend at the Lockstone. When I booked, I had no idea how close the house was to the venue. It was a five minute walk. The house is quaint and very clean. We were very happy.
We appreciated the comfortable space after our long days’ work, giving us a place to share a meal and to rest for the next day. Easy parking, comfortable beds. Thank you.

Hi! We are Peter and Brooke, your hosts at Lagom Living. We began our VRBO adventure during the hype of Covid. With help from Brooke's Dad and son we renovated the other side of our duplex to be more suitable for guests. Brooke owns a small home + living shop in Brockport, a couple of towns over. Brooke was able to incorporate much of the shops vibe with local art & antique furnishings in the space. The apartment is completely private with separate entrances. You may occasionally see us around, in the garden or walking the dogs. Although we really enjoy meeting people and hosting travelers passing through, we also respect your privacy. Are hope is that you have an enjoyable and relaxing stay with us! Life can be full of hustle and sometimes it's nice to have a peaceful place to rejuvenate, even if it is only for a night and hopefully you will leave here feeling a little more refreshed. We look forward to hosting you!
