Our family enjoyed our stay immensely. The cabin is a bit remote but that’s what we were looking for. The hosts were kind and responsive and the cabin itself was clean and spacious. The outdoor deck was awesome. We hope to be back soon!
My family was in town for a family reunion and could not be more happy with this vacation home. From booking to checking out, the communication was awesome. The home is absolutely beautiful in a gorgeous community. This location had everything we could possibly need. We will be repeat customers! Thank you!
This house was just perfect. This is our 4th yr going to NC and staying in a cabin by the mts. This was by far the cleanest and most accommodating one. The house had literally everything you can need, from scotch tape, to extra toothbrushs. They had every kind of cooking kitchen equipment that you would need, with a large enough kitchen to use it in. The house was large and spacious, beautifully decorated, had roku tvs and alexas in every room. Everything looked new and up to date. We had a great time chilling in the wrap around porch and enjoying the sound of the creek (which is on a neighbors property, so you can't to into it). The cabin is a 45 min drive to stone mt, which had a great waterfall and sliding rocks and grandfather mt was about 1.5 hrs. There was a food lion and Ingles less than 30 min from the house and in the house, they had great wifi for your cellphone and laptops. Would definitely recommend to get a breath of fresh air away from the noise of the city!
This is a wonderful property. It is very clean and has many nice features. The view from the porch is great. The outside covered grill area was a fun place to hang out. The kitchen is well stocked. Lots of stairs but worth it for those who ambulate well. Thanks to the owners for a wonderful experience.
First of all, the hosts are very thoughtful, clear communicators, friendly and quick to respond. They even sent a video to show you how to get from the gate to the cabin! You can tell that they love their cabin and want you to enjoy it just as much. The gazebo with the outdoor seating and kitchen was our favorite place for our family to grill, eat, relax, and enjoy the wonderful sunsets, views, and animals (deer and bunnies). So many nice touches throughout the home. Our family (my parents, husband, son and his girlfriend) made so many wonderful memories on this trip due to our stay at the cabin and the activities we found in the area (Grayson Highland State Park, Thistle Meadow Winery, Landmark Alpaca Farm, Hidden Pastures Horseback riding, West Jefferson downtown, etc). Wonderful experience and we will be back. Thank you, Scott and Diane!

Why they chose this property
Thanks for sharing our home with us. We live in Florida but have been coming up to the North Carolina Mountains for the last twelve years for vacations. We saw this cabin for sale, and we knew right away that this is where we wanted to retire in a few years. In the meantime, since we can't live here full time because of work in Florida, we want to thank you for being able to share this lovely cabin in the mountains with us while we're not here.
