If you want privacy, the perfect beach vacation awaits you at this condo! Truly the ultimate choice in beach accommodations, as it is the ONLY penthouse condo that occupies the entire top floor (6th) of Seawind's exclusive Private Residences building. A private elevator services each floor of the building; no delays in getting to and from the beach. And, the private, oversized balcony gives you a steps away, close-up, view of the gulf!!

This beautifully decorated three bedroom/three bath unit has a total of 1600 sq. ft with ceramic tile throughout! The master features a king bed, the second and third bedrooms have queen beds, and a sleeper sofa in the living room sleeps 8 total. At the end of the day, enjoy TV/DVD on the large flat panel TV in the living room or any of the bedrooms, or watch the moonlight from your private balcony (accessible through 3 sets of sliding doors off the living room, dining room and master bedroom).

Great Getaway for Family and Friends

We enjoyed our stay in the Penthouse. It was nice to be on the beach and be able to walk to dinner and shopping. This is a great setup for family or friends. It has a nice big porch overlooking the ocean.

Great location right on the beach. Very spacious condo that was very well maintained. The water line to the ice maker started leaking and they addressed it within the hour for us. Definitely would stay there again.

This was definitely one of the best properties we have stayed at in Gulf Shores! Everything was beautiful, from the panoramic views of the beach to the condo decor. The location was within walking distance to everything in the area. The owners were great with communication and fixed our very minor issue within the hour! Overall 10/10! Would love to stay again!

We absolutely loved this unit. The huge balcony was a plus and everyone had plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked and we loved there was a selection of books to borrow. Only suggestions- there was one beach chair and it was for a toddler. The 2 loungers on the balcony have seen better days. Other than that, we absolutely loved staying here and everyone was sad to leave.

Great place for our girls trip

This condo is very nice - large and tastefully decorated. I wasn't sure how I'd like being so close to the restaurant next door but we ended up eating there twice during our stay! Like others have mentioned we did have the sewage smell when we checked in and a couple of other times but it wasn't distracting for most the stay. I'm not sure if the cleaning folks do a thorough enough job... definitely noticed dust build up on things like the ceiling fans and it looked like more than a few dust bunnies were living under my bed. But the beach and view were great, the condo well equipped, the pool is small but both the big pool and splash pad areas were refreshing when you needed them. The pool areas are shared with the bigger building next door so I could imagine they get packed at times but we went late season. We'd definitely consider coming back and staying here again!

Sewage Smell

Condo was amazing! Had a fantastic time. Couple of small issues. Master bathroom towel holders were both stripped from sheet rock, light in show was hanging from sheet rock. not big issues.... The condo did have a strong sewer smell the entire week. Checked drains in all rooms, was not coming from drains. Again, not issues, just bringing to your attention. Overall, our time at Gulf Shores was Amazing and have highly recommended already. We will defiantly be back!! Hopefully same condo will be available. Thank you again

Great Location

Can’t beat the property and location. Private elevator to beat the big lines for the elevator. Only negative thing would be the sewer smell that comes lift station under the building when they clean the pool. Other than that a great stay.

Fantastic Condo on the Beach

This condo ranks up there among the best. Check-in was easy, communication with the host was a breeze. The place was much larger than anticipated, and once you see in person you will be amazed at the layout. The kitchen was stocked with top notch cooking supplies. The balcony is huge and fit all seven of us with room to spare. You are right on the beach which was great to come and go as we pleased. The host has plenty of beach toys available for use so huge plus there. We were there for 4th of July and the fireworks show was great and could be seen from the comfort of the balcony or the beach. Zero negatives from us. You’d be hard pressed to find anything this nice in the area for the price.

My husband John and I happily purchased this property in spring of 2008. Although we lived in Fairhope and not more than an hour’s drive away, the two locations are as different from each other as mountains and prairies! We have loved the proximity for our own visits to the condo for marvelous vacations with our daughter Catherine and son-in-law, Matt.

Fast forward to May 2021: I am now on my own. John unexpectedly passed away on March 3rd due to complications from coronavirus-19. It has taken me until now to get somewhat up to speed but I WILL continue renting to summer visitors from June to September-October, with the extremely capable help of Jodi Priefer, my Blue Suede Views (Unit 600) property manager, who also oversees the care and cleaning of this condo and has done so for several years — best cleaning we've ever had!

I hope to meet as many of you as I can -- socially distanced of course! I am not as quick on my feet as John was, but I want to check in occasionally and keep beach toys reliably available.

I wish you a wonderful vacation wherever you may stay! If you’ve been here before, welcome back!! If not, please come in and make yourselves thoroughly at home! I love having you stay here.

Seawind is centrally located and blocks away from great restaurants and water/amusement parks!! Close to the state park and pier for lovely beach walks in one direction, and fun restaurants including The Hangout and Pink Pony in the other!

PRIME LOCATION!! Easy walking distance to the Hangout for Shrimp Fest and Music Fest activities.

PRIVATE ELEVATOR — We have LOVED our superfast access for unloading the car! Drive up, park, get a cart (usually there is one outside our front door), unload, and get those toes in the sand where they belong!

Also, having the top floor (6th) with ensures a quieter and more relaxing atmosphere — no footfalls clattering overhead, for one thing. The great workout facilities on the 2nd floor are also accessed by the private elevator.
